Speaker 2:Hello everyone and welcome back to Keeping Realty. It feels so good to just be sitting here recording an episode, because it's been so long. I don't really know where to start. But before we really dive into what's been going on recently, what this rebrand and expanding is doing for not only myself but you guys as well in my audience, I just want to talk about when you're going through a change and when you're adjusting to something that's new whether it's college or a new job or a new manager or whatever it may be when you feel like you don't know where to start and you don't know where to pick up and you just don't know when to go on telling you that I was there and you're going to get through it regardless. I have so many exciting things that I am about to share with you guys in this episode. So just sit back and just if I get a little off topic and I go into, maybe just understand okay, it's going to be okay and we're all going to get through it. We're all doing this thing together, so let's just get into it. Hello guys and welcome back.
Speaker 2:So to start off with, let's just talk about, as we all know, my real estate podcast, or keeping it realty was about all things real estate until I hit a little bump in the road, let's just say, and I went through a breakup and it was all peachy. At first I felt like best friends, it's all good, and I feel like everybody goes through something like that, where it doesn't really hit you until a certain point, and I was just hit with something even bigger. And my manager, who has been with me from the start of my success in real estate actually from the day one of me getting my license, she was there and prior to getting my license she was there. She was the reason I went to Caldwell banker and no matter in life you're going to have jobs and you're going to become really close to people and they're going to literally like I can't explain the amount of gratefulness I have for her. She is just so smart and just selfless. I've never met somebody like her and when they, when she got let go, it was really hard for me, like I couldn't imagine walking into the office and not seeing her anymore. But you know life happens and that it was nothing in my control. But we did get a new manager and she's wonderful and she's helped me get the media room and the Lux Realty lounge altogether, which shout out to I for design, for staging and designing that entire room. They are doing it right now and I just can't wait to be done with this episode, to go to my closing, because today is closing day, so let's just get into the very beginning part of all of this.
Speaker 2:Okay, so I went through a breakup, right, and I made a podcast about going through a breakup and I had so many people reach out to me and DMing me and I'm sorry if I haven't gotten back to you on that. I've had a lot of stuff going on with work and doing the new other podcast show that I've been working on and my listings and everything. It's just been really busy. However, I had so many people reach out that loved that and I really thought about it and I thought at first, how can I make this keeping a realty, about real estate but also lifestyle and going through breakup and going through change and all kinds of stuff, and you can't. They're just totally different, you know. So, anyway, that is when I came up with the idea of the Lux Realty Lounge, which is a podcasting show that I just started that each week I'm going to have on new guests. It is not going to be me, I will be hosting it, but it is going to be agents, lenders, title companies, new agents from all over, not even called Will Banker. So if you are my audience and you come on and listen to my show for real estate content, that will be the place to go.
Speaker 2:So anyway, with that being said, I really wanted to just kind of get a break from I felt like my life consisted and consumed real estate and I felt like, when I wanted to go record a podcast, I wanted to talk about other things other than real estate, because real estate consumes my life, right, and so then I go through this change when my manager gets let go, and I wanted to record a podcast about going through change and about, and I did Okay. So I go to the office and I sit down and I record this podcast and I go home to edit it and I'm like, oh my God, like I cannot post, I can't upload this, like it was literally me just ranting and ranting and ranting and going on and on about all things in my life that I was struggling with, and I realized podcasting is truly my therapy, like I could sit down and stare at a wall for so long and maybe I will and not even record them, because if you would listen to the one that I saved, I just didn't upload it. It is so funny, like there's, I don't stop. I just go on and on and on and on about everything in my life that I can't stand at the moment. So I really wanted to break from talking about real estate. So I was like you know what I'm going to transform keeping it realty into a lifestyle and getting through whatever you're going through and the reality of going through hard shit and but also getting to where you want to be in life.
Speaker 2:You everybody has set goals and you have to have a mindset. If you want to be at wherever you want to be in life, you have to plan out what you want and to succeed in life. No person that is wealthy and successful didn't go through shit. Everybody does. And regardless of whatever you're listening to, if you're going through something, I really thought a month ago that I was going to put my license and I scroll. I was like, literally, this is just terrible, like I didn't couldn't even get out of bed to answer a client. That is where I was at. Okay, so, whatever you're going through, just know that it does get better, because here I am now waiting for the eye for design to finish staging this media room that I got to pick out and go to the warehouse and everything. So it does get better, okay, listen.
Speaker 2:So, like I said, real estate and keeping it realty is a passion and it is something that I looked forward to doing every single week until I hit this point. I'm like God, like I literally can't even imagine talking about real estate, going through a breakup and then losing my manager, like I would have just been talking about nonsense and I just kind of realized, like God, I felt like everything in my life was real estate, real estate, real estate. Can I just talk about my problems and help other people that, whatever they're going through as well? And so, whatever you are going through, I would love you guys to reach out to me and I just I'm so thankful for where I am right now and your guys's support along the way. I do leave for vacation tonight. We're just so exciting. I can't wait. I'm going to the beach with all of my sisters, my mom I mean me and my niece, so it's going to be a lot of fun I will make.
Speaker 2:I was thinking about bringing my podcast and equipment and like making us all get on because it would be hysterical, like my family needs reality show regardless, but maybe keeping it real to you guys can see the real and reality of the de Angellas girls. So, with all of this being said, lux Realty Lounge is going to be amazing and every week we have all kinds of people with various knowledge of all kinds of things. And if you want buying and selling advice, if you want knowledge on really the insights of real estate and I'm sure agents that I'm having on and these next few weeks are going to share their stories, because we all have stories and real estate looks so peachy online and then you get into it and you're like, holy shit, anyway I. So I had a listing with all of this being said. Of course, I'm going in real estate because it's my life, but I can't wait for the next episodes on keeping a realty, about going through change and adjusting to change and how to really get through it, about breakups and how to avoid not contacting them and how it will help you and how to become a better version of yourself and all kinds of stuff. So I didn't want to make this one kind of short, just kind of give a background of really what has been going on and you're going to go through this growth and figuring out really who you are, and I want to be there and support and help along the way, because I am still growing myself and learning new things every day and learning what I'm not good at and learning what I am good at and learning all kinds of stuff.
Speaker 2:One little thing I forgot to maybe add in there is, you know, that agent where I'm sitting in our office right now together. But I worked for an agent since I got my license, kind of get my foot in the door, and I'm so grateful because I learned so much from her. But we've decided to part ways. You know my podcast and real estate. It was all becoming too much and I was getting a lot of my own business and not really being able to focus on her transactions and it became to be too much. So now I have a lot of time to just focus on myself and focus on my podcast and focus on my clients and, yes, because that is what means most to me. So yeah, with all that being said, I hope you guys understand I'm so thankful for all of you and we have so many exciting things coming up. So stay tuned, and we're going to do this thing together. We're going to make our dreams a reality together. So let's do this thing. Okay, love you. Bye.
