Uh, quite a few. I mean, that's what I, that's what we were saying before, um, that, okay, well this is gonna be Fight that's not so, quick. And I'm like, yeah, you know,'cause the plan is to get him up to speed in terms of strength, unlock new, strength and powers, or just unleash him altogether, I guess if, he hasn't been really tapping into his, his full power and to do that. You have to like get him to the brink of death every time.

She's using her Kido, her healing spells to, heal him essentially. So he's dying, or I don't know if he's dead or dying, but she's bringing him back using healing spells.

Or fatally wounds him, he blacks out, or guess for us, maybe he is dying and, um, then he revives himself and jumps right back into the fray. Exactly kind of like, Saijan a Saijan in Dragon Ball Z, every time they come close to death, they get more stronger. But the fight itself is exhilarating, right? It's exhilarating with a, small dose of tragedy because we already know as soon as we said, that one's gonna live and one's gonna die, but, there's no villains in this fight. We have two opponents of the same faction. Even though Zaki Zaki said they're both villains as of now. They are the good guys in the fighting. So

Let's talk about the flashback. This is the flashback with Resu. She's looking for battle in the, Wuhan district. In District 80. This is, Zaraki's. His district where he grew up, and the way to explain district, district one is the cleanest, most peaceful district. you know, well, I guess 1, 2, 3, that's where the noble people live and it goes to 80. 80 is the law lawless version of the, of the Wuhan district. It's for criminals and the lowest of the low, the slums. So she goes all the way there to pick fights. cause she's a villain. She, all she wants to do is fight and she come across, I think this is where she come across Zaraki, right?

she found him basically on top of a pile of bodies. And at first everybody thought that she did that and it was like, no, you know, this, this little kid with this sword. a pile of bodies very crazed, very insane

Right. And they lock eyes and you know, I mean, he, he's looking like, okay, I killed a thousand people. You're gonna be 1,001. And she's looking like, bring this on he's a kid, bring this on.

And we didn't get much of the fight. They didn't show much of the fight. It's, I couldn't tell if it was a long fight or a short fight

Uh, didn't show much of the fight, but we did get from the story is that. they both enjoyed it so immensely and they were so happy to find, someone as equally yoked as themselves I mean, she made it seem like he was possibly better than her then, you know, he started to suppress his power to, to match hers so that, They could keep fighting. And he has been subconsciously doing that up until present day

right. So what she did was, Bankai and she had a sword in her hand. She rubbed the blade until it caused her to bleed, and then blood poured from the sword from the roof. It just filled the entire space. Wicked.

But it makes you think now, like Yamamoto had to know that about, you know, he knows her, he knows that about her, so why hold her back? And maybe he, he kind of was that like He was thinking ahead,

What I appreciate in these scenes. There were internal conversations about the battle just about them, clashing of the swords. They were, they were both talking about their experience in battle. And in some instances, they were reading each other's mind and answering each other's questions. I thought they were so poetic. Like in battle, they became one.

they kind of had it like, okay, well it's two parts of one, one hole. Right.

Like they're in love with the battle. They're not in love with each other, but the feeling, the passion, the violence from the battle. It's like a love song to fighting.

When she even, she made the statement, I learned how to heal just for this battle. I mean, that's

I guess, did you know it was coming? Like do you know that, this was gonna be the final battle? Did you feel that in the air?

Well, I noticed something when, and I had to rewind to see this. Their blades crossed and all her blood spears, her blood break blades just were flown almost like they were overpowered I was kind of in awe like, where's this going to go now? And I was thinking, also, will we see a bankai from Zaraki?

I didn't think she was going to get to a point where it was required anyway. And um, I guess what was a little unclear was whether once he struck her through the chest with his, um, Zanpakuto, was it because he was just so powerful, she couldn't. He overcame her

well, I, from what I, my take, she intentionally did not heal herself. She wanted to die in the Warrior's death because she also said, the first time they crossed blades she made a choice not to kill him, but to make him stronger. She realized that he was that was gonna take. The true title of, of Kenpachi. Yeah. And uh, yeah, it was tough to see her go down. He was shocked. He threw his sword and he caught her. A gentleman like fashion, which I didn't think I was gonna say that about Zaraki, and he yelled out, he bellowed when she died. So, it was very sad.

It was very sad. But the, the bellowing wasn't for the loss of the person. the bellowing was, to me anyway, because it meant the end of the battling, like forever, like period.

But he did admire her and she admired him because she did say, you are the only man to bring me joy, the only person to bring me joy. So it's, it's admiration there. know, a lot of people wanna say love story, but it was, I don't know about love story, but admiration.

Retsu's voice, I gotta talk about her tone. Especially in the last bit of the fight. Her voice seemed, her tone changed to an older parental figure. She was like, oh, you're crying for me. Don't cry. That's silly. know,

He speaks with, uh, hip hop vernacular like, yo yo, yo yo. And. he looks kind of like a, you know, like he has a dj, um, headphones on. And it was really weird just to see. I liked it,

When they said no, he taught them how to grovel and he got this ridiculous pose that he did and since they want to stay, they got in this pose and he pulled out his cell phone and took a picture of them that pose and we're sorting around and I got a good laugh off that. That was hilarious. That's when I knew, okay, I like him. my guy.

yeah. the of fun. Um, but then, uh, I guess one of his lieutenants like, breaks up the party uh, tells him to stop, you know, being silly and come on and let's get to it. So she takes them to the actual real hole, then not, not whatever that make-believe club that they were in

The fight, the, uh, Reto, Kampachi, rocky fight was really good and it was layered with so much, it was so meaty. It was a meaty fight where you just learned so much about both characters. It took you to the height of anticipation. Then it slowly dropped you. It didn't just bottom out, you just got what you needed. And then with the part two, learning about Ichi goal, and uh, that is more to his story. I'm excited for the next episode. I liked everything about this episode, a strong nine.
