well, I'm talking about party. Well, yeah. Well, yeah, I guess that's some more that's like one of the popular images of carnival. So like Rio and, you know, the ones that you see, uh, in the islands, everybody's in costumes, having a good time. It's usually about like a week long event. And so, uh, Miami, which has become one of the, the major U. S. hubs to have a carnival, had theirs. And so, yeah, I just, um, was living vicariously through, through reels and, and, and stories. And being like, oh, I'm not there. Oh, man.

you know what? I, uh, I usually do, like, the, um, the Juve events. I haven't done the costume event, which is, you know, you put on the costume and it's just like a all day long celebration. It's on my, it's on my list to do, but I usually only go to the ones in the islands. I feel like they're more authentic.

right, I mean, it mainly originates in like, um, lot of the Caribbean islands. And so each Caribbean island has their own way of, of having carnival. And so you, you get a lot of like their culture and their cultural references and they wrap that up.

yeah, into the programs, whether, and so I mean, it's, it's things like, you know, you have like a steel pan, which is like the steel pan drums event, and that might be something that's like from local heritage for a particular island, not, not all islands, but a particular island. You have something like the Makajumbis, which is like. Um, people on the stilts with the the costumes on and you know, it's like an art like stilt walking. Yeah, so you

I was thinking for our listeners and I know our listeners. They Or into Bleach and The Thousand Year Blood War. But imagine that someone listened to us, and they don't really know anime. So, I was thinking, what's an anime that will kinda get them into this beautiful genre or this beautiful platform?

Well, uh, Well, if we're going for adults and, um, well, one stay away from the, the, the big ones with. A lot of fillers in them because if you're not used to how anime works, like the fillers can probably bog you down too much and then you get bored, right? Then you get bored and then you don't, you know, you're not interested and you don't get to try out all the different kinds of anime that there is. So I don't know, um, some fun ones to always start out with I think maybe might be like Spirited Away.

yeah, Studio Ghibli stuff is always pretty good, a good place to start. Uh, if you want to go old school but still good, Cowboy Bebop might be a good place to start.

Can you believe it? Anime fantasy romance. And this is about a young boy and a young girl. And they are sep separated through time and space, but they eventually, somehow some way switch bodies. So this young teenage boy is in a girl and this young girl is in a boy's body and they're, they are just exploring their new world because they're in a different time and space. in a different body and what they do is to communicate with each other. They, use pen and paper and they text, they leave messages on their own cell phones to say, okay, this is a type of mischief I've gotten into since you were away. And it's really, really cool because can you imagine somebody jumping into your body for a day and living,

I mean, like some of the, a lot of the anime we watch have like romantic storylines in them, but it's not the entire premise of what the story is about. But, um, for like My Happy Marriage, I mean, yes, there's other things going on, but the premise of the story is about the romantic relationship. And so it kind of intrigued me to maybe try to seek out More anime that's like that to see if I would like it more because that's not really one of my go to genres

Yeah, Kisuke, Mayuri. They have a, uh, update. And they were saying that 42 percent of our forces are down. And 30%, 30 percent are in fighting shape.

Yeah, uh, they basically are saying that the Sternritters used all the chaos that was taking place to take out their chain of command. So, we got a little update. So, Soifan is down. Hitsugaya, uh, they can't feel the spiritual pressure anywhere. Matsumoto, they don't know what's going on with him.

They don't even care about Squad 11. It's like, Squad 11, we can't, who cares?

You know, Zaraki, they can't, get in touch with him. So, uh, it's just not looking, um, really good right now, um, in Soul Reaper land.

But they do, they have noticed that Squad 3 Captain and Squad 9 Captain are still alive, are in fighting shape. So that is the two bright spots in this war, that we have two Captain level Soul Reapers to help us out in the war.

And do you notice, Mayuri seemed really upset that the Star Readers Have so big of advantage over the, um, soul reapers.

I was so proud of him. He's like, well, our forces have been reduced to 30 percent You should be able to command 30 percent Shun Shui

And he kind of whips Shumsri into shape, like, okay, I'll, uh, I'll get, uh, I'll start commanding, I'll start doing my job now, and I'll do, like, Shumsri. But he's new at the job and he's he looks very green

well, you know, because I just looked at it as like, Shunsui has always- come off like he has this laid, laid back approach, excuse me. And so that's, he's kind of taken the same approach here. Now, we had some, alluding to that. Yeah. In the previous episodes that maybe that he has like this, uh, big picture plan That is in the works that we don't maybe know about so he feels like maybe that's important More important than really being on the front lines right now But they, they're like taking hits and losses left and right. maybe, and we'll, we'll see if it works out for him. I mean, at this point, we don't know if he's gonna have any soul reapers left the way things are going. And, um, I don't know if, if, if stealth stealth is the, the method that's going to win this. I don't know, but we'll see.

He was doing a lot of the work. Like, I really saw leadership skills with Bayou Reef. He's the one who downloaded the locations of all surviving Soul Reapers and their captains and had them sent to the remaining Soul Reapers

To regroup, to like, to go to the remaining, the barracks that was still standing, and to be able to regroup under some kind of, I guess, leadership.

right. They were falling from, they fell from like the soul palace. He was going over there, but Rose and Kensei stopped him. And that's when that fight began. And what did you think of the Bankai's immediately? Cause they went straight to Bankai.

Oh yeah, Kensei releasing his Bankai.

We haven't seen that Bankai since, uh, since, I'm saying this last time a hundred, you turn back the pendulum. And it's kind of a weird bankai it's not it doesn't appear very powerful. It appears like one of those close up attacks Where you have to be right on the person to really get any benefit from it

Yeah, he explained it, I guess if you didn't know what it was before, and it's basically he can make his sword trajectory explode.

So his left his left hand and his right hand does two different things.

It just makes the sword trajectory explodes. And then when he does his Bankai, well, his, I guess his Zanpakuto, his Zanpakuto can make his, make it explode. And then when he does the Bankai, it channels the force of the explosion into his fist. So as long as his fist is in like contact with you, it will keep like pounding you indefinitely.

In this Bankai, there's an orchestra's wand in the air, and the orchestra's wand is just orchestrating and It's having the, the mannequins attack in certain ways, not really attack form, former attack.
