I, wanna talk about how this episode changed from a bleach episode to a horror movie. Because

it had all the components of the horror movie

and it made me forget I was watching Bleach. One of the best episodes of. Both seasons.

But it just seems like, especially this season, that they are really beefing up, you know?'cause we've, we've heard that everybody had a problem with how bleach ended,

there was a few. Questions and holes and things that people were a little unsatisfied with. So I just feel like they've been, enemy wise, they've been doing such a great job with like, maybe redeeming themselves a little bit and beefing up the content of the manga and giving you, really great visuals and everything. So, it was just a really good episode.

All right, so we, uh, start with Ichigo, who is meeting with Squad Zero at the Palace in the Palace, and So, um, he is getting ready to leave the palace to go back down to the

72 layers, and this is supposed to allow him to travel from the royal palace to the, to the S.

Well, you have to pierce that membrane and, uh, it just, I had to do a little research on this too, because I was like, the rural palace isn't that high. Like if I was falling from the clouds, would it take me a week to land?

But then as, uh, I, I take a look it's higher than the clouds. It's, I don't know if it's stratosphere. It's pretty high. The, space shuttle, how long would it take to go to earth from orbit? And they say about an hour, but it's moving at 17,500 miles per hour.

So that might be pretty accurate to be flash stepping from the stratosphere all the way to earth.

I don't wanna be too cocky. That's pretty darn cocky. Everything's gonna be

it was, I was a little surprised. I'm like, okay, wait a minute. So, you know, we, we saw Reggie's big transformation last episode,

this episode we get in Rukia and I'm like, okay, well that means that if Ichigo is talking like he is all they need to save the day, what kinda power up is he does, did he get while at the, um, at the palace? So, we get through our intro and we see harsh fall and Uum and, and Al tells IU to follow him to see exactly. What kind of being Yuha really is.

this sets the stage because it's the continuation from last episode

He's just absorbed master masculine. And he is like, okay, I wanna show you what type of person he is. So then he takes him to this room where they're vanquished or getting, getting their judgment, they're being judged and. The, vanquished or du and Gie noying. These are the same guys that U went to gather and he brought them back a couple episodes ago. So

but he brought to the, to the execution ground. That's where they, that's where they are.

So we find out how haw feels about losers. Well, he brings his friend, alt you ground to judge them and to slaughter them.

He blocks a strike. And then we get to see something very, very awesome, very, uh, spectacular. We get to see you. Graham's, um, his, what do you call it? Strip

I mean, it was kind of cool with the scale, um, tipping and falling.

I was a little, it was a little confusing. I was, I wasn't sure if that was his, um, a part of his power or. If that was just like a, a illusion with the whole blade of judgment or, you know, I wasn't

he, he gave a speech about misfortune and fortune, almost like he can balance the luck or something because the slash. That was originally on his neck. It's almost like it was powered up and it killed him. He's gonna be a tough, tough opponent.

Okay? After he cuts, uh, he beheads both of them. He tells Uri not to be confused, that. All those that, um, Yuha has given his soul to will have their powers ab absorbed by him when they die. And so all their knowledge and all their skill will become a part of his power. And since Orio drunk his blood too, that's kind of the fate that awaits him, if he fails to perform the way that he should.

the aid station. And so she dropped them off there. And so now we, we be, we're back with her again and she is trying to rendezvous with Regie to possibly attack. The, the enemy's castle, the stern of this castle. And, um, then we get, as she's going along, she feels this touch and she turns around quickly, doesn't see anything.

so, creepy, right?

Horror really crept in, in phases, and this was the first phase where you realize this was not going to be an ordinary episode of bleach because just that, that flash, that shocking hand touching her. It's like, okay, okay, just hold on and through this because it's gonna be unsettling.

And so, uh, when she turns back around, we see a stern wheeler appear and ask her if she's scared.

And then his fear like tentacles seems to be reaching out and they slowly grasp and they touch rukia. Um, I guess fear seeps in because that's what Esno says'cause he's all game now,

she has unleashed her, bonai her. So, and this, oh man, it's a beautiful ice white sword. And, uh, it freezes everything. But she goes into an explanation later on. About why her Zopa told Banca is so strong and I just love the explanation. As note starts to get psych psychological. He gets to, you know, be a therapist'cause he goes on and on about beer and the psychology behind fear and safety. Versus fear and

Yeah, it's just a, it was like a long monologue I appreciate an explanation to a power, to a bonai, chica, whatever, you know, but when they get wordy and long and you know, it can great a little bit.

His face and his body, as he starts to talk about fear, starts to contort and grotesque and pervert, and it starts to get really scary. This is a full out horror movie and they're, I mean, it's almost a play with the audience too, because it's having us think about what's really scary and what, what's really fearful life and death and okay, is everything scary or fearful dealing with death? you have to deal with it. You have to look at It

Um, and she's, uh, regulating her raci to pause her body functions

She's saying the rei, by controlling the rei, she temporarily essentially gives her the ability to kill her body. And that's why the fear won't work,'cause. She's technically not alive while she's doing this,

it was pretty cool. And the explanation of what was happening was kind of cool, but she can only function at the temperature to freeze for only like four seconds.

in hell. And I wonder how does it get in this state? They say an incident, and I was thinking, Was this Yha, as

This even affects Rukia, this new form because she's tries to, to swing her Z toe and slice him, and she misses and she's, it feels like she's trying to hit him, but she just can't do it. And he gives an explanation, which I thought was brilliant. He said, well, you may not feel fear for your nerves. Feel it. Your nerves are not co cooperating with your body right now.

And then it goes, uh, it goes even further. Danielle, like, I feel like she had a touch of fear because she saw her friend, she saw Ichigo anyway, in Chad dying in zombie. It lets me think that, okay, now she's can imagine them dying. And that's scary to her. That's her fear. Her friends dying.

So she's starting to lose it. And then, you know, another thing, all these flies start coming these bugs and they start to get on their body. And that in itself, a lot of people are scared of bugs or massive numbers of bugs.

Well, and so she had that experience, um, with that illusion of flies covering her whole body, but the illusion is broken.

All we see is a sword coming through. And lo and behold, who is it? Bakia busting through the illusion with his octo ready. And,

he floats in on with flowers. Sprinkling all around him as note, sees him and as note is happy now because that's the guy he really wants to fight. You know, he's not so worried about rookie now and he trieds and he really, really tries to get into BIA is head. He's saying like, I gouged out your inner, I sliced open your stomach clean. You know he's doing all this stuff bakia and bakia like form all of it. But because I mean, he has a iron mind. He's not bending to this. He knows the game. He's worried about rukia. Bianchi was just amazing. he was so amazing. This episode.

Well, he dispatches that attack very quickly, like it didn't even really affect him at all. And so Esno, um, complains that he wished he could have, kept the bonai and, um, Bakia informs him that. What you had wasn't even my bonai.

Right. And you, you see how he did that? What he did was he showed the hilt. He's like, oh, you had this bonai, you know, better. As note is taken back, he's like, oh, this guy, he's powered up and he still wants to fight bia.

So as no then gets even more souped up and transforms into like an even bigger monster than he was before. Like he went full on Monster. This time unrecognizable. In terms of form from how he was before, what did you, what do you think he looked like?

And even with that, I felt something about his death. Like I wanted him to die. But it's also, I saw his motivation and, which he was, he's just a scared human being. He's just a scared guy that Yuhas manipulating. I've always been in the middle with Rukia now. I love Rukia. I love her now. So strong episode. I guess it's time to do the best and worst.

This was that episode that make you question your life, like in fear in your life. It was a beautiful episode.
