Following Jesus:

1. May require sacrifice. (Acts 16:3, Mark 8:34)

2. Means being sensitive to the Holy Spirit. (Acts 16:6-7)

3. Demands obedience. (Acts 16:8-12)

4. May take us out of our “comfort zone”. (Acts 16:13)

5. Means he’s in charge. (Acts 16:14-16)

Next steps...

• Think about and discuss what kind of sacrifices you are willing to make in order to reach people with the good news about Jesus. What might you be willing to change or give up?
• Surrender your life and schedule to the Lord each morning, by telling Him that you’re willing to go where He wants you to go and do what He wants you to do. Ask Him to make His will clear to you so that you can obey it.
• Continue to pray that the Lord would soften the hearts of your family members, neighbors and coworkers that have not yet come to faith in Jesus.
