1. Samson cried out to the LORD for help. (Judges 15:18, Psalm 50:15)

2. Samson was a mirror for Israel. (Judges 15-16, Luke 15, Revelation 3:17)

3. God silences the praises of false gods. (Judges 16:23-30)

4. God is merciful. (Judges 15:18-19, 16:28-30, 2 Timothy 2:13)

Next steps...

• Read and reflect on Psalm 50:15: “Then call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory.”  Humble yourself and ask God for His help every day, so that you can do His will and give Him glory.
• Think about your life and ask God to show you how you are like Samson.  Then repent and commit to following the Lord and His will for your life.
• Find hope in the fact that God is merciful to the broken.  Offer this hope to someone else who is experiencing brokenness in his or her life.
