1. Paul taught them the Word of God (Acts 18:11).

• We tend to underestimate how important this is.
• We need to learn the Word of God. (Psalm 119:11,105, 2 Timothy 3:16&17, Ephesians 6:17)
• It takes time. (Acts 18:11)

2. Paul strengthened all the disciples. (Acts 18:23)

• Our faith needs regular strengthening. 
• How are we strengthened in our faith?

3. How do we know that we’re succeeding?

Next steps...

• Recommit yourself to reading the Bible and applying it to your daily life. Schedule a consistent time each day when you spend some time reading and reflecting on God’s Word.
• Think about and discuss with family members and friends what has strengthened your faith over the years, then pursue those practices that have proven to be helpful to you.
• On a scale from 1-10, evaluate your own discipleship.  And pay attention to what God may be calling you to do next.
