 2. Paul did what Elijah and Elisha did. (1 Kings 17:21, 2 Kings 4:34-35)

 3. It was a powerful object lesson. (Acts 19:6, 20:7,11)

 4. God still raises the dead.

                   During spiritual revivals.

                  In third world countries.

                  In America today.

5. Nothing is impossible for God. (Luke 1:37)

6. God is great and His ways are mysterious. (Isaiah 55:8-9, Romans 11:33-36)

• Think about and discuss with family members and friends whether or not you would have sufficient courage and faith to pray that God would raise a dead person back to life again. 
• Read and reflect on 1 Kings 17:17-24, 2 Kings 4:8-37, and Acts 9:36-42. 
• Why might the Lord want to bring a dead person back to life?  Why did he bring people back to life through Elijah, Elisha, Jesus, Peter, and Paul?
