1. What is atonement? 

2. Did Jesus die to save everyone?  (John 3:16, 2 Corinthians 4:3-4)

3. Did Jesus die for the sins of “the world”? (John 1:29, 3:17, 1 John 2:2)  

4. Jesus died to save his sheep. (John 17:2,6,9; 10:11,14-15; Acts 20:28b, Matthew 1:21)

5. God spared no expense to save those he had chosen. (2 Corinthians 5:21)

Next steps...

• Read 2 Corinthians 4:1-4.  Pray that God would remove the veil of spiritual blindness from the eyes of people you know who don’t believe in Jesus.
• Are you concerned about whether or not you’re saved?  If so, that’s evidence that you are, for those who aren’t saved don’t care about it.  Give thanks to God for being one of His chosen sheep.
• Guard against spiritual pride about being chosen by God and invite the Holy Spirit to give you a heart that longs for others to know Christ.
