1. There were terrorists in Paul’s day. (Acts 21:38) 

2. Paul was a religious fanatic. (Acts 8:3, Philippians 1:20-21)

3. Most people are not religious fanatics.

      The believers in Tyre urged Paul not to go to Jerusalem. (Acts 21:4)

      The prophet Agabus told Paul what would happen. (Acts 21:10-11)

      Everyone pleaded with Paul not to go. (Acts 21:12)

      We tend to value life and comfort more than Christ.

4. Paul was ready to die for Christ. (Acts 21:13).

• Think about how your life would be different if you valued Christ and his kingdom more than you valued your own life and comfort?
• Read and reflect on what Paul writes in Philippians 3:7-14.  Pray his words as your own prayer. 
• What steps can you take to be bolder about your faith?  What risks might you be willing to take to show God’s love to someone or to share the good news about Jesus with them?
