What It Means To Be Reformed

A sermon outline based on Jeremiah 32:30-41 (38-40)

1. God is unconditionally committed to his children. (Jeremiah 32:38-39)

2. God will never stop doing good for us. (Jeremiah 32:40)

3. God’s true children will never turn away from Him. (Jeremiah 32:40, Deuteronomy 33:27, Psalm 37:24, 28, 66:9 , 94:14, 97:10, John 6:37, 39, 10:28, 17:12, Romans 11:29, 1 Corinthians 1:8-9 , Philippians 1:6, Hebrews 13:5)

4. How do we explain those who fall away from the faith? (1 John 2:19)

5. Doesn’t this make people morally careless?  

6. How can we be sure that we will never be lost?  (Romans 10:9, Ephesians 1:13, Philippians 1:6, Matthew 7:16,  1 John 2:5-6)
