1. Jesus spoke to Paul at key times in his life:

• He converted him. (Acts 9:3-6)
• He sent him to the Gentiles. (Acts 22:17-21)
• He promised him protection and fruitful ministry. (Acts 18:9-11)
•  He gave him hope and direction (Acts 23:11).
• He assured him of deliverance and purpose. (Acts 27:23-24)
• He strengthened him. (2 Timothy 4:16-17)
• He promised him grace. (2 Corinthians 12:9)

2. Jesus stood by Paul. (Acts 23:11a, Hebrews 13:5-6)

3. Jesus encouraged Paul. (Acts 23:11b)

4. Jesus acknowledged that Paul had been a faithful witness. (Acts 23:11c)

5. Jesus assured Paul that he would testify in Rome. (Acts 23:11d)

 Next steps...

• Thank the Lord that He is with us always and will never leave us or forsake us. 
• Invite the Lord to speak to you. Then listen carefully for ways that He might be trying to say something to you, through words, thoughts, images, music, Scripture, or conversations. But make sure that it always conforms to what He says in His Word.
• Look for ways that you might share your personal testimony with someone this week. Ask the Lord to open doors for you to do so.  Then be prepared to share when the Holy Spirit prompts you.
