1. Felix was living in spiritual denial. (Acts 24:24-26)

• He was afraid. (Acts 24:25)
• He procrastinated. (Acts 24:25)
• He was corrupt. (Acts 24:26)

2. King Agrippa was living in spiritual denial. (Acts 26:28)

3. It’s tempting to live in spiritual denial. (Revelation 3:17-18)

Next steps...                           

• Stop worrying about what others might think and do what God calls you to do.  Try living only for His approval.
• Read and reflect on Revelation 3:15-17: “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot.  I wish you were either one or the other!  So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.  You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.'  But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.”  What might Jesus be saying to you?
• Are you procrastinating having personal devotions or influencing someone for Christ? Decide to do something about it today!  Invite someone to hold you accountable, if that would help you follow through on what you want to do.
