The Foundations of Our Faith, part 5

A sermon outline based on 1 Peter 3:15 

and Belgic Confession Articles 10-11

1. A Jehovah’s Witness at your door is a witnessing opportunity. (1 Peter 3:15)

2. They deny the deity of Christ. (Isaiah 44:6 & Revelation 22:13, Isaiah 43:11 & Luke 2:11 & Philippians 3:20, John 20:28)

3. They do not believe in the personhood and deity of the Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 2:10-11, 12:11, Ephesians 4:30, Acts 13:2, 9:31, John 14:26, 16:13, Romans 8:26, Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 3:17-18)

4. They do not believe in salvation by grace. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:5, John 3:16)

5. Question the authority and credibility of the Watchtower organization. (1 John 4:1, Acts 17:11)

6. Share your personal testimony.  

 7. Pray for them. (Romans 10:1-2)
