1. Legalism is always a trap. (Galatians 4:8-10)

2. Reaching people for Christ requires intentionality.

   (Galatians 4:12-14, 2 Corinthians 9:20-22)

3. Take the joy test. (Nehemiah 8:10, Psalm 40:16, 

    Galatians 4:15, Philippians 4:4)

4. Always seek the truth. (Galatians 4:16, Ephesians 4:15)

5. Be zealous about the right things. (Galatians 4:17-18)

6. The goal is to be like Christ. (Galatians 4:19)

 Next steps...

• How can you be more intentional about praying for and sharing the good news about Jesus with people?
• Take “the joy test.”  Read and reflect on the Bible passages under point #3 above. To what degree is the Lord, and His joy, in your heart?
• Invite Jesus to shape and form your heart and life.  Seek Him and abide in Him.  Surrender more of your life to His control. Ask your spouse, or a trusted family member or friend how they see Christ in you.
