And then all"},{"startTime":230.495,"endTime":234.458,"body":"I was doing,"},{"startTime":234.458,"endTime":239.873,"body":"I realise now, was just learning inside"},{"startTime":234.458,"endTime":239.873,"body":"out how my camera works"},{"startTime":239.873,"endTime":245.147,"body":"and how to photograph sort of on the fly"},{"startTime":239.873,"endTime":245.147,"body":"and particularly wildlife."},{"startTime":245.539,"endTime":248.93,"body":"And then about probably about three years"},{"startTime":245.539,"endTime":248.93,"body":"ago,"},{"startTime":248.93,"endTime":250.39,"body":"I think we ended up in Wiltshire,"},{"startTime":250.39,"endTime":255.902,"body":"maybe four years. And I would go off"},{"startTime":250.39,"endTime":255.902,"body":"walking for days."},{"startTime":255.902,"endTime":257.543,"body":"Well, I've come back to the boat at night,"},{"startTime":257.543,"endTime":262.494,"body":"but I'd go off for massive walks with my"},{"startTime":257.543,"endTime":262.494,"body":"camera and then took loads of photos,"},{"startTime":262.494,"endTime":264.535,"body":"was editing them, not doing anything with"},{"startTime":262.494,"endTime":264.535,"body":"them,"},{"startTime":264.535,"endTime":266.295,"body":"and one day just sort of thought,"},{"startTime":266.295,"endTime":267.806,"body":"there are markets around here,"},{"startTime":267.806,"endTime":272.067,"body":"I'm gonna go and sell my photos at a"},{"startTime":267.806,"endTime":272.067,"body":"market."},{"startTime":272.559,"endTime":277.392,"body":"So I got some printed and I've always"},{"startTime":272.559,"endTime":277.392,"body":"liked I've loved printed works."},{"startTime":277.392,"endTime":283.115,"body":"I've always loved quality photography or"},{"startTime":277.392,"endTime":283.115,"body":"quality art and fine art papers and stuff."},{"startTime":283.115,"endTime":286.707,"body":"So when I s right from the very beginning"},{"startTime":283.115,"endTime":286.707,"body":"I was using really good quality,"},{"startTime":286.707,"endTime":289.508,"body":"you know, prints and print companies."},{"startTime":289.508,"endTime":291.849,"body":"And it's yeah, that was the start of it."},{"startTime":291.849,"endTime":294.505,"body":"And ~ it's sort of taken off."},{"startTime":296.119,"endTime":298.718,"body":"But now you do more pet photography."},{"startTime":298.718,"endTime":299.718,"body":"So how did that come along?"},{"startTime":300.869,"endTime":306.873,"body":"do. ~ because I was selling wildlife"},{"startTime":300.869,"endTime":306.873,"body":"prints and I was it was all sort"},{"startTime":306.873,"endTime":310.506,"body":"of wildlife and canal scenes, obviously"},{"startTime":306.873,"endTime":310.506,"body":"what was around me."},{"startTime":310.506,"endTime":314.258,"body":"So that was my sort of USP and in"},{"startTime":310.506,"endTime":314.258,"body":"Wiltshire,"},{"startTime":314.258,"endTime":315.899,"body":"which is where I'm mostly based now,"},{"startTime":315.899,"endTime":320.012,"body":"you know, it's very rural, so there's a"},{"startTime":315.899,"endTime":320.012,"body":"nice sort of audience for my work anyway."},{"startTime":320.012,"endTime":324.355,"body":"And it was as simple as one day a guy"},{"startTime":320.012,"endTime":324.355,"body":"said,"},{"startTime":324.355,"endTime":326.496,"body":"well if you can photograph wildlife,"},{"startTime":326.496,"endTime":330.139,"body":"you must be able to photograph my dog that"},{"startTime":326.496,"endTime":330.139,"body":"wasn't trained."},{"startTime":330.841,"endTime":333.713,"body":"And I sort of went, 'yeah, of course I can"},{"startTime":330.841,"endTime":333.713,"body":"do that'."},{"startTime":333.713,"endTime":338.715,"body":"And he booked me to photograph his his"},{"startTime":333.713,"endTime":338.715,"body":"wife's dog."},{"startTime":338.715,"endTime":344.329,"body":"And I was really nervous and I went to the"},{"startTime":338.715,"endTime":344.329,"body":"location that we'd agreed multiple times,"},{"startTime":344.329,"endTime":345.97,"body":"and it was going to be for the bluebells."},{"startTime":345.97,"endTime":347.531,"body":"And so there was all the paths there,"},{"startTime":347.531,"endTime":352.864,"body":"and everything was sorted. And I hadn't"},{"startTime":347.531,"endTime":352.864,"body":"counted on it being a sausage dog."},{"startTime":352.864,"endTime":355.665,"body":"So the dog was shorter than the bluebells."},{"startTime":355.665,"endTime":358.607,"body":"So again, strangely it was that whole"},{"startTime":358.747,"endTime":361.86,"body":"Think on your feet. You can't sort of act"},{"startTime":358.747,"endTime":361.86,"body":"to this woman like,"},{"startTime":361.86,"endTime":365.16,"body":"I don't know what I'm doing. I had to make"},{"startTime":361.86,"endTime":365.16,"body":"sure that there were some some good"},{"startTime":363.515,"endTime":364.515,"body":"Yeah."},{"startTime":365.16,"endTime":368.277,"body":"photos. And I got some amazing photos that"},{"startTime":365.16,"endTime":368.277,"body":"are still some,"},{"startTime":368.277,"endTime":370.679,"body":"you know, really popular that I show to"},{"startTime":368.277,"endTime":370.679,"body":"clients."},{"startTime":370.679,"endTime":376.125,"body":"And they are great examples of a dog that"},{"startTime":370.679,"endTime":376.125,"body":"never stopped moving,"},{"startTime":376.125,"endTime":378.027,"body":"but looks completely, you know,"},{"startTime":378.027,"endTime":380.87,"body":"posed and perfect for the camera."},{"startTime":382.503,"endTime":385.184,"body":"I've got a friend with a sausage dog and"},{"startTime":382.503,"endTime":385.184,"body":"they are they are great dogs"},{"startTime":385.184,"endTime":388.107,"body":"to photograph actually. ~"},{"startTime":386.287,"endTime":388.615,"body":"They're hilarious. So h how has how has your"},{"startTime":393.881,"endTime":397.893,"body":"business evolved over the years then?"},{"startTime":395.431,"endTime":396.431,"body":"Well didn't"},{"startTime":399.397,"endTime":403.109,"body":"so it started off I was doing markets and"},{"startTime":399.397,"endTime":403.109,"body":"I do craft fairs,"},{"startTime":403.109,"endTime":407.05,"body":"~ and it was wildlife photography."},{"startTime":407.05,"endTime":412.162,"body":"And now I still do I do a regular market"},{"startTime":407.05,"endTime":412.162,"body":"two days a week in the shambles in"},{"startTime":412.162,"endTime":417.184,"body":"and there I've got ~ regulars that know me"},{"startTime":412.162,"endTime":417.184,"body":"and they get commissions"},{"startTime":417.184,"endTime":419.755,"body":"and things like that. There's a few"},{"startTime":417.184,"endTime":419.755,"body":"tourists that come through,"},{"startTime":419.755,"endTime":425.017,"body":"and then I do sometimes I do sort of"},{"startTime":419.755,"endTime":425.017,"body":"special pet stroke dog events where people"},{"startTime":425.017,"endTime":428.689,"body":"are there just because they love dogs or"},{"startTime":425.017,"endTime":428.689,"body":"they've got dogs and"},{"startTime":428.869,"endTime":430.92,"body":"They're probably looking for a"},{"startTime":428.869,"endTime":430.92,"body":"photographer."},{"startTime":430.92,"endTime":436.124,"body":"and I also I sort of evolved from I still"},{"startTime":430.92,"endTime":436.124,"body":"sell prints,"},{"startTime":436.124,"endTime":441.898,"body":"but I also make bags and mugs and slates"},{"startTime":436.124,"endTime":441.898,"body":"are very popular at the moment."},{"startTime":441.898,"endTime":444.981,"body":"And those sort of things I can print in my"},{"startTime":441.898,"endTime":444.981,"body":"own workshop here."},{"startTime":444.981,"endTime":450.454,"body":"So and then the the pet photography is the"},{"startTime":444.981,"endTime":450.454,"body":"bigger part of the business now."},{"startTime":450.454,"endTime":454.057,"body":"And and I love that because every shoot's"},{"startTime":450.454,"endTime":454.057,"body":"different,"},{"startTime":454.057,"endTime":456.679,"body":"and my style is let's"},{"startTime":456.933,"endTime":460.776,"body":"go with what the dog wants to do and I'll"},{"startTime":456.933,"endTime":460.776,"body":"go with the flow."},{"startTime":460.776,"endTime":464.829,"body":"And they so they'll get sort of the"},{"startTime":460.776,"endTime":464.829,"body":"natural photos as well as at some point"},{"startTime":464.829,"endTime":466.59,"body":"the dog stops, pauses, and goes,"},{"startTime":466.59,"endTime":470.413,"body":"Hello.
