Dez Mighty Podcast
I am an award winning filmmaker, public speaker and creative who has developed technology solutions for some of the largest companies in the world. I built businesses from scratch, developed property, and spent two decades figuring out how the world actually works versus how people say it does. I founded Unfiltered London, co-founded Legacy AI CIC taking AI education to children across Sub-Saharan Africa, and I still think the most honest conversations happen when the professional mask comes off.
I talk to people who have been through something real. A health crisis. A business that nearly took them out. A loss that changed everything. People rebuilding identity from the ground up. Sometimes the guest is an entrepreneur. Sometimes a public figure. Sometimes someone you have never heard of who has lived a story you will not forget.
Every now and again I just talk about what is happening in the world right now. Straight. No filter.
No agenda. No script. Just real conversations with real people.

Know Your Pause: How Marcia Jones Turned a Front Room Gathering Into a Menopause Movement”
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
In this episode, Dez sits down with Marcia Jones, Founder and CEO of Sister2SisterBU, an Award-Winning Women’s Wellbeing community based in London. What started as a monthly gathering in her front room over two decades ago is now a thriving movement supporting midlife women across cultures through perimenopause, menopause, and everything in between.
Marcia launched her Perimenopause and Menopause Support Group in October 2020, right in the middle of a global pandemic, because women needed a space where they felt seen, supported, and not alone. Today that group continues to grow, backed by funding and driven by Marcia’s no-nonsense approach to wellbeing, community, and transformation.
In this conversation, Marcia talks openly about the symptoms nobody prepares you for, why the conversation around menopause is still not loud enough, and how her own journey including surviving breast cancer shaped the woman and the mission behind Sister2SisterBU.
If you are in perimenopause, menopause, or supporting someone who is, this episode is essential listening.
