Tarun Chitra is the Co-Founder and CEO of Gauntlet, a simulation platform for crypto networks that helps developers understand how decisions about security, governance, and consensus mechanisms affect network activity and asset value. He started building trading tools for cryptocurrencies as a hobby in 2016 while working full-time as a quant researcher and developer at Vatic Labs. In March 2022, Gauntlet raised a new round of funding that pushed its valuation to $1 billion. Chitra utilized his network of quant traders to build Gauntlet into a unicorn.
