Hey beautiful people, welcome to Soft Call and Christ Podcast all about living softly in Yeshua's light. I am Oke and I am a disciple of Christ who is passionate about helping young people feel loved, seen, and not alone in their walk with Yeshua, aka Jesus Christ. This podcast exists to equip you to become a disciple of Christ so you can walk in purity and purpose and peace no matter what life circumstance you're currently facing. So I am back back again. Um this episode is titled Do Not Worry. Before we get into the podcast, I need to say it's been a minute. I'm currently in a park in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, outside with people walking around, and I'm out here filming this podcast. Now you could be saying, Okay, why you're not in your podcast studio? Girl, that podcast studio has closed. Okay, my last podcast episode was literally in May, and it's currently July, and I have been taking an unexpected well, I it was expected, but like um a break because I did not have access to the podcast studio, and then after that podcast studio closed, because it was at my school podcast studio, um, I did not have any place to film. Um I really hope the background music does not distract you guys too much because I was not gonna actually film a podcast episode until I had the right environment, the right setting, the right place to do it, and that's why one month to two months and two months is almost three months, and I've just had so many messages that I've wanted to share um with you guys, but I haven't been able to because I didn't have a podcast, and God just kept nudging me to just do it, like funny enough. I don't know. I've had this podcast, Self Girl in Christ podcast, for only like a few months. It was rebound branded, but my first podcast was Monday Motivation, and when I say God was just saying just do it, literally in June was the three-year anniversary of me starting a podcast. I started in 12th of June 2023, and the first episode was undo it, undo undo it, and start over. And I had like a just do it challenge, right? And so, in that challenge, I was just like scared to start a podcast because I'm like a person who you know as I said to you guys, I stutter sometimes, like sometimes the words don't come out right, but God still calls you to do something, and so I was like, I'm just gonna do it, and now fast forward three years later, I'm still in the same position where I feel like I don't have the perfect sitting, the perfect podcast environment that you see all these big um influencers or Christian influencers or podcasters have. All I have is this DJI Mac, you know, and so many times that had stopped me from actually creating the content that God wants me to create. And so today I said, I'm tired of it. Like I'm gonna come out of here, I'm tired of just not doing it, I wanna do it. Like, God has literally in the secret place been speaking, ministering to me, obviously filling me up, but I also, you know, I have a passion to fill up and help empower young people through the word of God, through God, and so I just decided, you know what? Let's do it. And it's a Friday night, it's 6 p.m. And I'm out here on a park in Fort Lauderdale with music playing in the background and people walking around, and I probably don't have the perfect podcast, but I think God has a message for whoever it is because He He He won't let up. He's like, Girl, I want you to full-time do this. You need to be doing my work, and I've been so busy with my own things and doing work and stuff like that. And God literally called me to quit my job, so I was literally having a job, and I had to give in my resignation for I mean two weeks ago, and I quit my job out of obedience to God. So, like, there's been so much happening around, like, I'm babbling on, I'm and I'm telling you guys, and there's so much in between that's been going on that has stopped me from actually coming on this podcast and talking to you guys, but I really miss it. Um, God has called me to it, he won't let up. Like, no matter how many times I'm like, Well, there are other people doing it, there's other people with bigger platforms, they doing it, like I don't need to do it, but he keeps like calling me to continue no matter what. Don't look at what other people are doing. Other people are doing his work, yes, but he also has called me to do this. So I got this mic, um, this DJI mic, and I'm back. Um, I don't know how my sitting and my podcast is gonna look, how it's gonna feel, how this is gonna sound, but I'm trusting that if God has called me to it, he will see it through, you know. So, yeah, um, that's what's been going on. I I really would love to hear what's been going on with you guys. So, as always, please comment. You guys also have my Instagram at self goldenchrist underscore on Instagram at onks underscore m. I really would love to get to know who listens to my podcast and also just know like where you guys are at in life. Um, but yeah, so today's message is do not worry. And before we get into this message, um, I really want to pray. Um, despite the environment, I I really want to pray and hope that God speaks to me. Because it's been a while since I've done this two months, and I need the Holy Spirit, as you guys know. I I do not do this out of my own strength, I do it with the strength of the Holy Spirit because without the Holy Spirit I am nothing. So let's pray. Dear Heavenly Father, I ask that you come down and help me to articulate the words that you have for your son or your daughter watching or listening to this. I pray that they will have an open mind and heart and spirit to hear what you have for them to say. I pray that the words that come out of my mouth may not be my words but your words, that you have called me to do this and out of obedience, it may not be perfect in how I want it to be done, but let your will be done and let your name be glorified, Yeshua. In the mighty name of Yeshua, I pray. Amen. Amen. Okay, so let's get into it. Before I start, okay, um, guys, this past before one more thing before I you know I get into the message is that one this past Sunday, so it's Friday, but the previous Sunday, I was actually supposed to shoot a podcast message, but I also was just overwhelmed and upset and frustrated about all these things I'm telling you guys about. And oddly enough, God had already given me gave me this message that week about do not worry, and next few days I was worrying, and so I am also a person who is having God work through me to stop worrying. And one of the greatest revelations that God has been teaching me in this season is simply do not worry, you know. I was not always like this, guys. Um, I used to be someone who thought about the future a lot. I was I want to have a five-year plan, ten-year plan, I want this house, I want this thing, I want this, I wanted every detail of my life planned out. Okay, I want to know exactly how everything would happen, when it would happen, and what the outcome will be. But if you've seen my other messages before this podcast message where I shared my testimony and what has happened to me, everything literally crashed and burned in my life. Where after that, I'm at the outer other side of it, and I'm realizing, hey man, not everything is going according to my plan, and I need to be okay with God having the control, then not me. And so I'm in a completely different season where I'm just embracing and watching what God is doing in my life. Like when I'm I'm living my life, but I'm also watching, like, what what are you doing, God? Like, I'm always in constant communication, like, what are you doing, God? Um, and also in it, I'm not as anxious about what he's doing. I'm more of like at peace because I've seen how he's gotten me through the worst seasons of my life, and have made made it out of those seasons that even if I go through another worst season, the same God who got me out of that first worst season can still work now. So now I'm like at a place where I'm like, I don't even worry about it anymore. Like every obstacle, every unanswered prayer, every financial need, every closed door. God has been faithful before, and he will be faithful again. And I've just seen his um pattern of faithfulness in my life that literally I cannot stop believing in him, and that has also led me to not worrying about what is going on in my life, instead, I've learned to live one day at a time, and that is exactly what Jesus teaches. So the scripture I want us to go to and talk about today is Matthew 6, verse 33. Holy Spirit, help me to speak to your daughter's son. So I have the Bible in front of me right here, it's on my lap, but it says, Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow worries about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. You know, as humans, um, we are constantly worrying about tomorrow. I think look at society, even here in this park. People are probably worrying about bills, people are probably worrying about what they're gonna eat tomorrow, people worrying about finances, all these things, right? And also, we create scenarios in our minds, we become overwhelmed by things that haven't even happened yet. You know, we spend today's strength fighting tomorrow's battles, and in this passage, when we read Matthew 6, verse 33, Jesus says, Don't. He simply says, because these are the words of Yeshua, he literally says, Don't worry about tomorrow, let tomorrow worry about itself. Each day has a try a trouble of its own. So he is saying that us as humans that we need to stop worrying about what's gonna go on tomorrow. Let's just focus on today, and he is basically saying cross tomorrow off your list because we don't even know what's gonna happen tomorrow. No one knows the future except Yeshua, except God. So then he's saying just focus on today. Now you're probably wondering, cool, okay. I am focusing on today, I have stresses of today. I have a bill that's due today. I have to pay this tuition, I have to do this today, I have to do this today. How are we gonna handle today? Well, how you handle today by not worrying is then let's read Philippians 4 verse 6, right? So I'm turning to Philippians 4, verse 6, and it says, Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your request to God, and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. So, if God is saying, Do not worry about tomorrow, cool, tomorrow's out of the way, then he's saying, Today we have troubles, these troubles are causing us anxiety. Then Ishua is saying, Do not be anxious about anything, instead pray about everything that you are currently going through. Replace your worries with prayer. That is so important because when you pray and you come to God, you giving him your feelings, you giving him the troubles that you're going through to him, right? It says prayer and petition, giving petition like God, please help me through this. I'm petitioning, I'm like, you know how we sign a petition for something like for a change to to happen in like the world? Same thing with our prayers, it's like a petition to God, like please make a way, help us get through this. It's that prayer, it's that petition that we gave him. But not only with that, it says it continues on with Thanksgiving, guys. We also have to be thankful for what God has gotten us through and what he has already done in our life. So when we are focusing on today, we have the anxieties of today, the worries of today, the stress of today. What we need to actually do is then go into prayer, give that a petition. Like, I'm giving this to you, Lord. Please silent and make a way where you open um uh rivers and valleys and help things to work out in my life, but not only coming to God and requesting things, but also thanking him for what he's done in your life. You are so you need to thank that you are alive today, you have air in your lungs, you have food to eat, you have whatever you have. There is things that you can be thankful for to God. So it's saying pair your praying, your petition with thanksgiving, and also as you present your request to God, what will happen is I don't know if about you guys, but for me, the peace of God that transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Whenever I have been anxious or worried, and I pray and I cry out to God and I worship, there is something spiritual about that praying and giving a request to God because what happens is his spirit comes in and gives you peace. Yeshua is the prince of peace. So whenever you call upon the name of the Lord, he is there. That was what scripture says, and he is the Prince of Peace that transcends any understanding, and what you'll see is that your mind will be filled with peace, and your heart will be filled with love that is of the Lord, right? Even when we think about um the analogy of uh in Matthew, I think it's in Matthew 11 23, or Matthew 11 um 28. Hold on. It says in Matthew 11, 28, Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. I love this scripture. So when we pair it with Ephesians 4, verse 6 and this Matthew 11, 28, Yeshua is literally saying to us, When we're focusing on tomorrow today's worries, we need to come to him as we pray and petition and give him thanksgiving and give him prayer requests, right? We know that it is a form of literally lifting the burdens of our yoke, our shoulder, and taking his yoke upon ourselves. That is that peace, that is that um peace that transcends any understanding. That is the yoke of Yeshua. So he's saying, take on my yoke, for my yoke is light, it will rest your soul. And thinking about it, when I come to Yeshua in moments of worry and moments of fear, doubt, just worrying about the future and how I'm gonna make certain bills and how I'm gonna do certain things, right? I always have to come. First response should be not worrying, number one, and second response should be prayer, giving thanksgiving, spending time in his presence. And it's literally, I'm not even lying to you. I want you guys to do this. It's literally like there's something that comes off of you as you give him the yoke that you are holding on, your burdens, your worries, as you give it to him, he literally replaces it with his yoke, which is peace that transcends all understanding, that is light. I don't know about you. Have you ever prayed and you're crying out to God? I don't know about you guys, but have you ever had that moment where you're crying to God, you're praying, you are like in your secret place, pouring out, and after that you feel so relieved, like it's like you feel so light. I don't know, it just feels so light afterwards that you cannot just help but feel peace. But if you're holding on to your burdens, if you're holding on to your worries to yourself, how is Yeshua gonna have the opportunity to take it off you if you're not even taking it off by pouring your heart out to him? So that's how we do not worry when we're in that situation in today where we feel like everything's against us. Stop a moment and actually pray. Start with a little word, even if you can't pray, start with our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Start with the small things, then start with conversation with God, tell him what's going on in your life, tell him what you you're feeling, telling him your burdens, everything, and you will see that the peace that transcends all understanding will literally come in, right? And so many times in my life, especially in this season of my life, where now God has placed me in a situation where He told me to quit my job, He's also called me into this coming uh fall, into Bible college, into ministry, right? And that was never part of my plan. God, I'm I'm not gonna lie to you guys. It was never part of my plan to go into ministry and actually study it. Oddly enough, my mom did that, and I was younger, and I used to watch like my mom go into Bible college and do that at the evening, like because she had us. So in the evening, she would go to Bible college classes and stuff like that. And I'm like, I'm never gonna be that. Like, I don't wanna do that. I want I don't want to do ministry, I want to just study um at my school, I want to get my degrees, I want to get the bag, I wanna do traveling, I want to do all of that. And literally, God was like, No, He said, I want you to go into Bible college, and oddly enough, my church does have a Bible college, so this fall I'll be going into that Bible college, but before even getting to that Bible college, God also then is like, quit your job. I'm like, God, how am I gonna quit the job that is actually helping me to pay my bills? And in all of it, it takes a certain level of trust that I'm developing in this season of my life where I no longer am worrying about God. How are you gonna do it? I'm just asking God help me equip me to have that peace. God help me with this anxiety, God help me to get through this day, or help me provide the ways that you have called me into. Because if God has called you into it, pray that He provides the ways to get into it. Instead of worrying it and putting the burdens on yourself, cast all your burdens onto the Lord, for He cares for you. Do not worry, worry doesn't actually add anything into your life, right? And if you go back into Matthew 6, it is actually Matthew 6, verse 25 to 34, because I read 34, which says, Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble for its own. If you go to Matthew 25, it says, Therefore, I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink, or your body, what you will wear, is life, is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes. So Yeshua is saying, all of this is really fleeting, all of this, because we all the inevitable thing is all of us are gonna have a time where God calls us home, where we're gonna live leave the world behind and then die, right? And so God is saying, in this moment, why are you worrying about things that could be fleeting? Where you should worry about your soul, your spirit, how to be in peace with me, how to look toward me in these situations. And so many times, the biggest things that we do as um as humans in general is worry about the next thing, about the next thing, about the next thing that we forget to actually come to the Lord first because that's where our soul, our spirit is replenished, right? And it even says that you can. Continue in verse 26. It says, Look at the birds of the air. They do not sow or reap or straw away in burns, and yet your heavenly father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than them? It's so beautiful when you think about it. Because we see animals, we see birds, we see even here in this park, there's a lot of flies, a lot of bugs, a lot of birds all around. And I have never seen a bird like frantically or like, oh my gosh, what am I gonna do? What am I gonna do? What am I gonna do? How am I gonna eat? They literally every single day they just seek out and God provides for them. You have never seen, I don't know, actually, let me not gonna lie. I have not seen an anxious bird. Maybe you have seen an anxious bird, but you don't see an anxious bird because they're able to go out, find food, or sleep, rest, you know, and then wake up. God provides for them, but we actually have dominion over them, we are more valuable to God over them. So why are we have being anxious and worrying when we could come to the supplier of all things which is God? Instead of worrying about what we're gonna eat, where we're gonna get the clothes for this, our bills, we should be actually focusing on coming to God, giving him our all, giving him praise, and trusting that he will work it all out for our good. He works out all things for the good of those who love him. I'm literally dropping scripture up in here. Some of these scriptures are not even in my notes, but it's just like all the scripture is connected when you really think about it. It's like God provides for birds, but we are more valuable than birds. Birds are not anxious, they can sleep and and and rest knowing that oh, tomorrow they have another day, they might find food. While we as Christians or as believers are constantly living in a state of worry when we actually have the recipe, the source of all things, which is our heavenly father who provides for us. We are more valuable than these animals, we are more valuable than um anything on this earth that God has created, and he is just calling us to come to him with our worries and our burdens. He doesn't want us to do us it alone. Like God wants us to be soft, and that's why I'm saying I'm a soft golden Christ. Because if you really think about it, God wants us to be soft, he does not want us to be worrying, he does not want us to be doing the heavy lifting. All he just asks for us is to pray, give the petition, give him thanks, and all the peace that transcends all understanding will come to us. He is literally saying to us, cast all your anxieties onto him, take his yoke, which is peace. Do not worry about these things and literally be soft, just go around. Oh, Yeshua's gonna do it. Oh, it doesn't look like it right now, but I'm gonna pray. Okay, I prayed about it, it's in his hands. Let me walk in peace, let me walk in purpose, let me walk in hope, let me walk in trust. That's how we should be, right? And if you continue on Matthew 6 verse 27, it says, Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life, guys? This is so important because worrying doesn't actually add, if anything, it actually subtracts when you look in studies and stuff. Stress is actually linked to cancer. So the more stressed you become, you can actually develop an autoimmune disease or actually develop cancer because of that stress. So inevitably, worrying, as the scripture says, cannot add another hour to your life, it actually can take away from your life. So God is saying you're worrying about these things, you're creating scenarios in your head, you're thinking about the worst-case scenario, you're thinking about the worst thing that could happen in your life, and God is saying that is not adding a single hour that you are wasting your energy, girl, you are wasting your time, man, just worrying about this. You could be using that time to just be praying to me, and I can handle it for you, and you can have peace and be soft. That is what um Yeshua wants for us. But we are so focused on worrying that we don't actually spend the time to focus on the one who can do everything for us in life, provide anywhere. He is Jehovah Jarah, he's Jehovah Nisi, he's Jehovah Al-Shahim, he's Jehovah Rapha. So that means Jehovah Jarah, God our provider, Jehovah Nisi, God who fights our battles, Jehovah Shalom, God our peace, Jehovah Rapha, God who heals our bodies, he is all encompassing all the things that we need are found in him. So when we are faced with these situations where we're worrying, we said we're canting out tomorrow. We must not worry about tomorrow, right? And if we have today's worries, we must cast it onto him, we must pray to him, we must petition to him, must give thanksgiving to him, must bring our requests to him and pour out everything. Take literally our yoke off ourselves and give it to him. And the peace that transcends all understanding will come to us in the name of Yeshua, right? Continuing on with Matthew 6, verse 28, it says, And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow, they do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothed the grass of the field, which is here today, and uh here today and tomorrow is thrown in the fire, will he not much more clothe you? You of little faith. Guys, again, it's a thing where God is saying that we are more valuable than actual plants, than these beautiful flowers. I'm okay again in this car. You know, it's so beautiful that I'm actually in a park right now reading this verse because wow, because when you see in the park, you see all these gro there's grass, there's plants, there's flowers. It's summertime right here in America. So you see all these things clothed in beauty, and we as humans are so worried about how we look to people. I don't have the brands, I can't afford these clothes, I can't afford these shoes, I can't afford this hairstyle, I can't afford these nails. And God is like, Why are you worrying about these little things? Don't worry about it. You are more valuable than these physical things, and if you're worrying about these things, you are having little faith in what else God can do in your life. You know what I mean? You of little faith, and then it continues and says in verse 31, so do not worry, saying, What shall we eat, or what shall we drink, or what shall we wear? And then it continues and says in verse 32, for the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly father knows that you need them. Listen, this is an important thing, especially in the society, in the social media, and the the trends that are going on. As a follower of Christ, as a disciple of Christ, I have to also constantly remind myself that I cannot be chasing things that the world is chasing, I cannot be chasing status through wanting so many followers, through wanting so many things, so many likes, so many views. I can't be chasing those things. I cannot be chasing wanting brands. Yes, listen, I would love a Louis Vuitton shoe, but I can't afford that. But I'm not gonna go chase it. That my whole purpose is not to chase a bag so I can afford um chase money so I can afford that bag. My purpose is to continuously chase God so He can transform my life, that He can provide for me, that He can align things in my life, that He can order my steps according to His plans for my life. That is what we need to be chasing, what we're focusing on. Because when we're actually worrying about these clothes and these foods and all these things, we're actually becoming like the pagans, we're actually like becoming like non-believers who are constantly, as we look on social media, who are constantly chasing those things. They will do anything to get uh followers, they will do anything to get likes, they will do anything to get brand deals, they will do anything to get certain clothes and all these things, and it literally leads you to compromising yourself for these things when you actually you know when you actually focus on God. This is so important. When you actually focus on God and you're chasing Him, slowly you will see those things will chase you in a sense where you chase God, God can reward you with the things that you've been worrying about getting. He can actually just be like, Someone could gift you it, some brand could come in and give you it for free, someone could gift you it on your birthday, all those things could happen, but it's because you were just chasing after God. An example that I have, okay, since we're on this topic. Example that I have is recently I've been working in youth ministry at my church, right? And so in the youth ministry, we had like this youth night where we had like a social with the members of the church, and we were doing a raffle, and we had like a TV and different mini mini raffles, right? Now, it was in the evening, and that morning I had work, and I felt like I don't want to go to church before work because I'm already gonna go to church in the evening, like there's no need, right? But something in my spirit was like, How can I be serving the Lord without actually hearing from the Lord? I can't be hosting this thing and you know, just serving the Lord and not actually going to church in the morning to hear the word. So I was like, you know what? I woke up in the morning, I was like, you know what? Before work, I'm gonna go to church. I went to church, praise the Lord. I love church, like it wasn't even about getting anything, I just love being in the presence of God, so it was so nice. I went to work after that, it felt good. After work, I went to the event. I had to, you know, organize the event that we were hosting and all that stuff. Now bear in mind, we as people who were organizing the event, we could also enter in the raffle. So cool. The raffle time came, it it was like people were playing games and stuff like that. I got a ticket in my whole in the in my spirit after this whole day. Something in my spirit was like, because a guy was handing out the raffle tickets, and something in my spirit was like, okay, take the last ticket in his hand, right? So he had like a row of tickets, and then he was like, just take the last ticket. And he gave me the verse of like the last will be first, right? Um, he just gave me that scripture, and it's like, instead of taking the first ticket that was out of that guy's hand that he was about to give me, I was like, No, can you give me the last ticket in the row? So he gave me the last ticket. I don't know why I did that, I don't know why God called me to do that, I just did it. Then after that, it was the raffle time after the game, stuff like that. It was the raffle time. As I'm in the raffle, there were multiple, like seven other raffles before the main raffle, which was a TV, right? The main prize, and everyone who came for the social wanted to get this TV, right? And so I didn't win those other mini raffles, I just had this ticket. And as I'm recording, as I'm recording them about to announce the the the winner of the TV, I'm like, I really want this TV, but you know, I don't know. They literally announced my number. They announced my number, and I literally went crazy. I was all over the place. I was happy. I was like, oh my gosh, I want to I want a TV. What I couldn't believe it, but I was more excited of like hearing God's voice than actually the TV. Because God was the one who said, get the ticket, the last ticket, the last will be first. And in this instance, you can see that that TV came to me because I was chasing after God, not because I was chasing after the TV, not because I was doing that raffle because I want the TV. I was just entering that raffle, hearing the voice of God telling me to get that ticket, and God gave me that TV. Same thing with us. When we're worrying about things that we are constantly chasing after that, we can't constantly chasing after the resource, we're constantly chasing these things that are not actually the source. The source is God. First seek the kingdom of God. Now, I say all of this because when we continue on to this verse on Matthew 6, verse 33, it says, But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Listen, did you guys hear that? I hope you're not hearing the car that just went by, but did you guys hear that? Because it says, But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. So he's saying that he's not gonna hey, he's not saying that he's not gonna give you food or drink and you just have to pray and you're not gonna get these things. No, he's saying that when you seek him first, all these other things that you're hoping for and praying for, you will see that they're all of them will be added onto you. But is it first that you're seeking him out of a pure heart, or you're just seeking him because you want things? Literally, after that experience, I really realized this. This this verse came to me in like the physical where I really truly saw that him seeking him first, going to church first, actually praising him first, and just hearing his voice and telling me to get that ticket. I wasn't thinking I was gonna win, but he automatically added those things because I was after him before those things. God wants to bless his children with so many things, but he does not want you to worry about the things first before you come to him. Come to him, cast the things that you're worrying to him, trust him, believe in him, seek his kingdom, read your word, pray, fast, praise, go to church, serve, love people, be good. Right? It's not about works, it's all coming out of your love for him, and you will see that all these things that the world is actually chasing out of their own um efforts, God's effort is gonna get you those things, God's effort will get you the things that the world is putting their effort for, and that's why I'm like a soft goal in Christ, because everything that's literally been happening in my life, I cannot attest it to myself, I cannot attest it to my own works, I cannot attest it to my own faith, I cannot attest it to my own being because I'm no different from you, I am no different from whoever is listening to this. But I serve a God who is so good that just seeking Him adds everything else that I need, even in the current situation where now I've quit my job and I have to afford to pay this my tuition for this Bible uh college, and I'm sitting here and I could sit and worry about calculating how I'm gonna pay this bill and how I'm gonna afford this apartment, how I'm gonna pay my rent for my apartment, how I'm gonna do all these things. I could spend my time today sitting and worrying for the thing that is tomorrow or coming days, but here I am sitting in his presence, choosing to read his word, choosing to serve his people, choosing to focus my eyes on him first, and all these other things by his grace are going to be added. That I do not need to worry about all these other things, I do not need to worry about tomorrow as it continues and it says in that the verse 34 therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has its own trouble, each day has its trouble of its own. I can give my troubles of today, cast it to God, not worry about tomorrow, pray, seek his will for my life, trust that it's in his hands, and live soft and free. And that's how you can walk in this freedom that is in Christ, freedom from anxiety, freedom from stress, freedom from depression, freedom from um negative thoughts, freedom from uh the temptations of the flesh, freedom because you've already given these things to God, and all He has given you is peace. That is the best gift you can have. Because now I even look at, for instance, my ex-job, the one I quit. Um, I look at how my boss works seven days of the week. He doesn't have a rest day, and so I was working in this environment where everyone around me didn't understand the concept of rest, not just sleeping, but rest in God, and they were just constantly on a cycle chasing money, chasing after these things. And I'm like, cool, they could be making more money than me and getting more shifts than me, like my co-workers. I realized that I don't want that, I want whatever God has for me. And if God said that we should have a day where we rest, that we go, that we spend time with him, that we put him first, I'd rather put him first than money first because he is the source, money is the resource. So let me not worry about the resource, which is money, and try to praise money when I should be praising God, and he's gonna give me the resource, resource, and he's gonna provide for me in his timing. And so that is what I want to leave you guys with today. This was a long podcast message, I think, but it was really just a catch-up and also just explaining to you guys that it is normal that we worry as humans. We we we like creating scenarios, I'm also like that, but in it, we have to trust that if we give it all to God, if we take our anxieties to him, his worries to him, he will make a way where we can have peace through it. Even if it doesn't change in the moment, even if we're still facing these battles, it doesn't go in a day. We know that because we're praying to him, in the midst of the storm, we can peace or have peace. In the midst of the uncertainty, we can still sleep. In the midst of the anxiety, we can still come to him and find rest. And I think I hope that even in this latter part of this year, that you do not hold these worries to yourself that you come to God, you cast all your anxieties to him, cast all your burdens to him, come to him when you're weary, praise him, give him thanks, and trust that he will see you through and the peace that trusts all understanding will guard your hearts and mind in Yeshua. Amen. Amen. Well, thank you guys for listening to the podcast. I hope it wasn't too noisy. Next time I'll I'll try to come um to a different setting earlier in the day because I just realized that coming to the park at 7 p.m. now is way noisy when it was earlier on. So yeah. I pray that God keeps you, I pray that God blesses you, and I'll see you in the next episode. Bye.
