Wheat futures are trading 3 to 4 cents per bushel lower this morning in the Chicago and KC contracts. MPLS spring wheat is a penny lower. They closed the Friday session with most CBT and KC contracts 2-4 cents lower on profit taking ahead of the weekend. MPLS was down a penny in the nearby contract. The Friday edition of the Export Sales report all wheat exports reported at 228,100 MT, which was just over half of the same week last year. Total export commitments of wheat are now lagging last year by 7.1%, slipping a little from the previous week. They are 74% of the USDA export projection, compared to the average of 79%.
