Thank a farmer! Ag Week in Idaho

Idaho Farm Bureau

Thanks for joining us, I'm Jake Putnam from the Boise office of the Idaho Farm Bureau.

We are located just a block from the Idaho Statehouse.

This is a special week around here… It's National Ag Day and Ag Week and it is during this week and on this day that we honor the nation’s farmers and ranchers. Without them, we don’t eat, and here in Idaho a huge part of the States economy begins and ends with Agriculture.

The US Ag Secretary also checked in on Ag week…

US Ag Secretary Vilsack making his premier appearance on the Farm Bureau podcast…and warm welcome

Milk prices fell earlier this month but are back holding steady…but for how long..The latest USDA milk production report shows continued growth in the dairy herd and in milk output. Gary Crawford

Thanks, Gary… it is a great week in Idaho and if it stops snowing long enough, then maybe we can get equipment in the fields and get the 2021 season underway, Thanks for joining us I'm Jake Putnam.
