Fulfilling Movement Artists
I want to enable movement artists, to find greater fulfillment through movement—through integration and inspiration from other movement spaces, and by introducing new stylistic elements or movement practices.
I am on a journey to prove to movers of all backgrounds that we are all "movement artists". To dig into "why" we move and "how" we move...
These are the questions that reveal the movement artist we never knew existed.

Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Quan Tran is an instructor and performer of aerial dance, specifically the aerial hoop (AKA lyra). He shares the way he overcame limiting perceptions of physical activity and movement. He shares the ways his movement arts bring a sense of fulfillment, and the ways they have changed over the years. In the end, we tie together how this fulfillment and his breakdance background inform the stylistic nuances of his movements and his approach to aerial dance.
