Our beaches have been  covered with Sargassum lately and although this is an annual issue, it seems to have multiplied in recent years. This year has been particularly concerning. There is even talk of a large patch of it, the size of Texas, coming our way and threatening your vacation.

I sit down with Tadzio Bervoets , who is THE guy to talk about the Sargassum problem affecting the beaches of, not only his home island of St. Maarten, but most of the islands in the Caribbean region as well as Florida and the coast of Mexico.

Tadzio is a Caribbean conservation professional and ocean advocate, with an impressive career spread all over the world. He is THE person to answer my questions about Sargassum and what threat, if any, it poses to your Caribbean beach vacation.

Next Episode of Paradise Perspectives will take us to Barbados, with the beautiful Bri from the Bajan Lifestyle. Get ready for the best insider tips. We're going where very few tourists have gone before.
