The Latter-Day Ladies
Jennie Moss started the Latter-Day Ladies podcast four years ago after struggling with chronic illness, trauma from child abuse and depression.
Her life transformed through clinging to Christ, and allowing Him to heal her mind and body. The Atonement of Jesus Christ has helped her find light and hope she didn't think was possible.
Here we meet as covenant keeping members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. To find encouragement and light, as we strive to keep the promises we have made to God.

173. The Power of Stillness Part 2 - "Doing" the Gospel & Resting in Christ

What if the gospel wasn’t something we had to rush through… but something we were meant to rest in?
In part two of the Power of Stillness series, I’m sharing how slowing my pace, especially on Sundays, has quietly shifted my worship. When I stopped treating the gospel like a checklist and let myself be present, I felt something I hadn’t felt in a while: peace. Not dramatic. Just steady and real.
We talk about what it looks like to move from doing to being, why sacrifice was never meant to be carried alone, and how slowing down actually makes space for Zion to be built the way the Lord intended, together.
This episode is for the woman who loves the gospel but feels tired… who wants to do what’s right but is craving rest, connection, and renewal.
