Welcome to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. Our scripture today will be taken from St. John 3:16, and it reads, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

The Lord is reminding us that sometimes we don't feel love. Sometimes life isn't as good to us as we would like. But that shouldn’t stop us from remembering the love that God has for us. God is love, and he loved us more than we loved ourselves. The Lord wants us to pray with a heart full of gratitude. For with him, we will be granted eternal life.

Today, as we pray, let us celebrate the Lord, rejoice, and give him thanks for his love towards us. Let’s focus on the love of the Lord as we go through this day and celebrate his faithfulness towards us.

Let’s Pray

Dear Heavenly Father. Our Lord, God, and Loving Savior. Father, we come before you with hearts bowed in reverence and overflowing with gratitude. Father, we acknowledge your greatness, your holiness, and the depths of your love. So we are worshipping, praising, and glorifying your holy name.

Father, thank you for reminding us of the love you have for us, a love so massive that we can’t fully comprehend. “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

Father, this promise is the very foundation of our faith. You made an ultimate sacrifice for our salvation. You send your only begotten son into the world to endure suffering and to give his life as a ransom for each and everyone of us. Your son did not condemn the world, but the world through him might be saved. Your desire is for us to have hope, redemption, and eternal life.

Lord, your love is not distant or conditional; it is active, sacrificial, and everlasting. We are forever indebted because of your love. Jesus, help us to remember the suffering you endured, the rejection, the pain, the cross, and the love that held you there. Not nails, not men’s strength, but love. Love for us. Love that would not let us go. We stand humbled because we know we are unworthy of such love, yet you freely poured it out upon us. Thank you for redemption, for hope, for reconciliation, and for eternal life secured through your resurrection.

Lord, help us to give you thanks and feel your love, for your love passed all understanding. Sometimes we don't feel love the way we would like to, especially when the pressure of life weighs heavily on us, and others don't appreciate us the way we'd like to be appreciated. But you are reminding us today that you love us.

Father, for you gave your only begotten Son, who went to the cross and died for us to show your love. What more can you do? Every breath we are able to breathe comes from you. For whosoever believes in you should not perish. But have everlasting lives.

Lord, we don't want to perish. So, we are praying and asking you for your love. We don't want to get caught up in the sin of this world. We don't want to be caught up in destruction, caught up in bad choices, or caught up in things that are not pleasing to you. Help us to fully surrender to you and allow our will to be accomplished in our lives. So, we can experience your love to others.

Lord, thank you for our families. Please lay your hands upon every husbands, every wife, every mother, every father, every brother, every sister, every aunt, every uncle, every niece, every nephew, every child, every grandchild, and everyone that is related to us.

Lord, no greater love has anyone than the love you have for us. When the road becomes difficult, and we stumble along the way, remind us that we are never alone. For you will never leave us nor forsake us. Lord, help us to lean not on our own understanding, but to acknowledge you in all our ways, trusting that you will direct our paths. Give us strength for today, courage for tomorrow, and unwavering faith to trust you in every season.

Father, help us to return love for all that you have done for us. Celebrate you when we are traveling, celebrate you at home, celebrate you at church, and celebrate you on the job. All our lives, you have been faithful. You have been so faithful to us. More than we could ever be faithful to ourselves.

Lord Jesus, we pray that our hearts would remain sensitive to your love. Help us to hunger and thirst for righteousness. Shape us to be more like you, so that when others see us, they might catch a glimpse of your love, your kindness, and your light shining through us.

Lord, remember everyone who is praying, and everyone who is seeking redemption. Help us to go through this day with a loving heart, knowing that we are never alone in our journey of life. Help us to share this message of love to those who have not yet experienced your transformation.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray…Amen.

Everyone, please have a blessed day, and we will pray again tomorrow, by God’s grace.
