Romans 12:1
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”
“Good morning, everyone. We want to thank the Lord for another day. And I want to welcome each and every one of you to another episode to our EBC Prayer Podcast.
Remember, I am your host. I am Dr. Victoria Dadd, the First Lady of Elyon Bible Church, Apostolic in New Jersey. Today we can remember the mercies of God, because God have been merciful to us.
And He's a wonderful God. And because of that, we are living proof, like the songwriter said, because of all His mercies and love towards us. Our scripture today will be taken from Romans 12 verse 1, and it reads, I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that He present your bodies as a liberant sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service, today, God is saying our reasonable service is to sacrifice to Him, because He's our God, our merciful, loving, and wonderful God.”
“So let us pray, Father, in the name and holy, wonderful name of Jesus. Lord, we are praying because you're wonderful. We are praying because you're holy.
We are praying because of the power of your blood, as the songwriter said. We are praying because of God, your mercies, and kindness and loviness towards us. We are praying because if it had not been for you, we would not be here.
We are praying, God, because of all that you have done for us. God, we could not have done for ourselves. We are here today because of your love and mercies towards us.
And because of that, God, we can pray with assurance that we serve a God who can do for us what we cannot do for ourselves. And so, God, we thank you for this day. We thank you, holy God.
We thank you, everlasting Father. We thank you, King of Kings. And we thank you, Lord of Lords.
Help us to pray, God, with assurance because of all that you have done for us. Lord God, we come today, and we know if it was not for you, we would not be here. We know, “God, that we are living proof of your mercies.
We are living proof of your goodness. We are living proof of your love towards us. We are living proof of what you can do, God, to show us that you are God who care, a God who loves us, a God who will do more for us than we can do for ourselves.
So help us to go through this day, God, rejoicing because of your mercy towards us. And Lord God, as you read your scripture, God, you said, I beseech you, dear forebreed, by the mercies of God. Thank you, Lord God, for beseeching us today.
Thank you for talking to us, God. Thank you for calling us your brethren. Thank you for calling us your people.
Thank you for reminding us of the mercies of God. Oh, Father God, that you have shown us day after day because of your love and power and greatness towards us. You are a good God, a holy God, and you didn't have to surrender for us, but you did it, God, so that we see your goodness and mercy.”
“You did it, God, to prove for God how much you love and care for us, God. And so, Lord God, all hallelujah, that God, you're reminding us today that we should present our bodies as a living sacrifice. God, you want us to surrender to you, sacrifice to you, to allow you to be God over us.
You don't want us to be entangled in the yoke of bondage. You don't want us, God, to commit sin that are not pleasing to you. You don't want us, God, to do what is not right.
And so, God, today we are praying for everyone who are listening to this podcast that the power of God will move in their life, that they will see you as a good God, they remember your goodness, remember that you're beseeching each and every one of us, oh God, to present ourselves as a living sacrifice unto you because you're a holy God. And God, remember God, our family's near and far. Let our family remember the goodness and mercies of God.”
“How to surrender to you, submit to you, become the people of God you're destined for them to become. Lord, we are praying today because we want more of you. We are praying today, God, because we don't want to be entangled in the yoke of bondage.
We are praying today, God, because we want to surrender to you and for your will to be done in our life. Help us, Lord God, to present ourselves as a living sacrifice. Help us to be holy, Lord God, because you are holy.
Help us, Lord God, not to submit to the things and cares of this world that will lose focus on you. Help us not to forget that we are serving a God who is so merciful and can do more for us than we can even do for ourselves. But help us, Lord God, to be holy, God, to, Lord God, to surrender to you, to let your will be done in our life, to live a life that is pleasing to you, God.”
“Help us to pray so more and so now than ever before. Help us, Lord God, to get to the point where our Savior can reign over us, take control over us. And God, we will just leave ourselves a living sacrifice unto you, Lord God, because you are holy.
And God, you're saying we should get to that place where we can do the acceptable things unto you, God. We want to do things that are pleasing to you. We want to do things, God, that you are pleased with.
We want to get to that place, God, where we're not hurting you, where we're not disappointing you, where we're not creating issues that will hurt others, but help us to be good. Help us to be merciful. Help us to be loving.
Help us to be bold for you, God, to surrender to you, to be free, God, in your words, in your power can take control over us, Lord Jesus. Help us to get to that place, Lord God, where we are acceptable unto you. When you look at us, God, if God let us to do the things that are pleasing to you, God, keep “us strong, keep us surrendering, keep us, God, at the place that you are pleased with us, God.
Help us, God, not to forget about your power and your love and your mercies towards us, but help us to keep on surrendering and keep on, Lord God, hallelujah. Get all God pleasing you, God, because you are talking to us, Lord God, like our, your best friend, you're talking to us, God, because you are our leaders, God. And that's why, God, you are beseeching us today.
That's why you are begging us today, God. Oh, God, to present ourself, God, in a way that is pleasing to you, God. That's why you are saying to us, God, we should present our body in a living sacrifice, that we should be holy unto you, God, be excluded things that are acceptable unto you, God.
And then, God, you say, which is our reasonable service. Sometimes we're so caught up on the things of this world. Sometimes, God, we want you to do for us, but we don't want to do for you.”
“But God, I thank you for reminding us today that it's our reasonable service to surrender to you. It's our reasonable service to pray, God, with thanksgiving and honor and glory because you are worthy, God. It's our reasonable service.
Oh, God, it's a requirement for us, God, to get to the place, God, where you are pleased, God, to get to the place, God, where you are our God, where we can fully surrender to you, where we stop making bad choices, stop doing things that are not pleasing. But God, I'm asking you, God, help us, Lord, God, to be good leaders. Help us, Lord, God, to be good children.
Help us, Lord, God, to be good followers for you, Lord, God. Lord, we are not only praying for ourselves, but we are praying for all of your leaders all over this world, God. And the power of God will move to each and every one.
Lord, we are praying for our families, God. That the power of God will move to every individual. And God, they will see the mercies of God in their life each and every day.”
“Lord, we are praying, God, for our children, for our God, for those who are married to God, our spouses. God, we are praying, Lord Jesus, that the power of God will take over each and every one of us. We want to be more like you.
God, we are tired of doing the things that's not right. We are tired, God, of not surrendering like we should. We're tired, God, of not remembering of your mercies towards us is why we're here today.
God, we are tired of forgetting that you have beseeched us day after day because you are merciful, God, and you want us to be holy. You want us to live a life that is pleasing unto you. You want us to do a reasonable service, God.
Oh, God, because you are God and deserve to be praised, deserve to be honored, deserve to be glorified. And so God, I thank you for this day. Help us, God, to go through this day with the mind and the heart to surrender to you, the mind and the heart to pray, the mind and the heart to seek you.”
“Help us to go through this day not giving up on you but remember that you are a merciful God who can do more for us than we can even do for ourselves. And so God, I thank you for everything today. And as we pray, God, we want your will to be done in us, to us, and for us.
And we are asking you, God, to touch everyone who are listening to this podcast, help them to surrender themselves to you, realizing that it's a reasonable service from you, that you're a choir of us, and let them keep on praying. Every one of us, God, keep on praying, keep on trusting you, and keep on believing you. Lord, we thank you for everything.
I want to encourage everyone who are listening to this podcast. Don't you give up on God. Just keep on praying, surrendering to him.
Remember, he's a holy God, and it's our will to respect him as our God, and serve him as our God. Keep on praying, and you have a wonderful day.”
