Elyon Bible Church Apostolic Season 3 Episode 298

Send us a text

“That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.” (Philippians 3:10)

Welcome to another daily prayer. Prayer works. Take the moment to connect with the Lord and grasp the strength that comes from His resurrection. In the pursuit of a deeper understanding of Him, hold not only the profound significance of His resurrection, but also experience the intimate community that arises from sharing in His sufferings. We should want to be transformed and molded into His likeness, embracing the journey that aligns me with the essence of His death. Through this relationship, we should hope to truly comprehend the depth of His sacrifice and the power that comes from overcoming death.

Good morning, everyone! Welcome to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. I am Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Prayer Leader at Elyon Bible Church Apostolic, located in Salem, New Jersey.

Today is October 25 – the 298 Day of the year.

I hope that your day is off to a wonderful start. We are going to pray and hold steadfast in our belief that God is arranging our circumstances for our ultimate good. His plans for us are always rooted in love and purpose.

Today, our scripture will be taken from Philippians 3:10. And it reads, “That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death.”

This scripture is inviting us into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, highlighting not only the transformative power of Christ's resurrection but also the importance of sharing in His trials.

As we pray today, let’s remember that our faith journey encompasses both joy and suffering, and in knowing Christ more fully, we will grow into the likeness of His character.

Let’s Pray

Dear Heavenly Father. Our Lord, God, and Savior. Father, we come before you with deep gratitude for the precious gift of prayer. In this holy moment, we are seeking your strength and yearning for more of you.

Lord, ‘That we may know you, and the power of your resurrection, and the fellowship of your sufferings, for you were made conformable unto your death.’

Lord, you are our Loving Father, our Savior, our Redeemer, and our Best Friend.

Thank you for reminding us that we need to know you more than we know ourselves. Help us to truly know you, to truly love you, to truly trust you, to pray with you, to surrender to you, and to develop a stronger relationship with you.

Lord, go ahead of us and prosper us. Help us to experience the power of your resurrection. Let that same power that raised you from the dead work in us, break every chain and turn fear into glory, and hopelessness into hopefulness.

Lord, take control over our thoughts. Help us not to get distracted, nor get discouraged, nor give up on you, but fully surrender to you.

Let your power move in our lives. Remove distractions, remove fear, renew our minds, restore our hope, and transform weaknesses into greatness.

Help us to keep on praying. Restore our lives so we can live in the light and not in the shadow of limitations.

Lord, at times suffering, discomfort, and loss may come our way. But you have the power to redeem suffering. And you are reminding us that in our suffering, we can draw nearer to you and see the depth of your compassion moving in our lives.

Lord, we are praying with sincerity, because we want to truly know you and the power of your resurrection. Let your power take control of our lives and bring us to the level you want us to be.

Lord, move in our homes, move in our marriages, move in our families, move in our communities, move in our churches, move in our schools, and in our hospitals. Lord, move in our senior homes, in the lives of our leaders, move our officers, in our presidents, in our ministers, governors, mayors, and everyone who is praying and reaching out to you for help. Lord, move in their lives like only you alone can. Let your power take control over us and transform us into the saints of God you have destined us to be and what you have destined for us to become.

Lord, help us to remember that all our hope is in you. Nothing is impossible for you. You have the power to take hold of us more than we can even take hold of ourselves. Help us not to get caught up in earthly titles and earthly positions, but to realize that one of the best titles on earth is the title of prayer.

Lord, help us not to give up on you, not to stop praying, but to trust and believe that you will do great things in our lives.

Whatever we went through yesterday, that was not good; we don't have to go through today. For our hope, strengthened, and assurance come from you.

You are reminding us of the power of your resurrection and the fellowship of your suffering. What you went through and are still going through for us. You surrendered your life for us. You were nailed to the cross for us, and you don’t want us to give up on you.

Lord, you are here, still watching over us, still protecting us, and still keeping us safe.

Help us to stop limiting you. To surrender daily to you, to trust you with our whole heart. Remove anything that keeps us from you, every false security, every hidden ideal.

Lord, please clothe us with humility, righteousness, and love. Give us the wisdom and courage to draw nearer to you each day.

Lord, thank you for hearing our prayers. Remember, everyone who is listening to this podcast, move in our lives like only you alone can, cover us under your blood. and deepen our trust in you, for you are working everything out for our good.

Lord, thank you for the comfort, success, and approval that come from you. Thank you for another day and another privilege to pray. We know that you will answer our prayers every day, every minute, every second, every hour, and over our lifetime.

You are encouraging us to pray day by day, moment by moment, and keep our eyes fixed on you. So, we can see your face-to-face one day. In your mighty and glorious name, we pray…Amen. In Jesus' holy name…Amen.

I want to encourage all of you, who are praying and listening to this podcast, keep on praying, and keep on holding on. Please have a blessed day, and we will pray again tomorrow by God’s grace. Bye-bye.
