Welcome to another episode of the EBC's Prayer Podcast. Our scripture will be taken from Matthew 21:21-22, and it reads: “Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. Whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

The Lord is encouraging us that whatever we ask in prayer and believe, we will receive. He wants us to have faith and refrain from doubt; not only will he be able to perform miracles similar to what was done to the fig tree, but he also wants us to command the mountain in our lives to be removed and cast into the sea, and it will happen.

As we pray, let us remember that whatever we ask for in prayer, believing wholeheartedly, we will receive.

Let’s Pray

Dear Heavenly Father. our Lord, God, and Savior. Father, we come before you with our hearts full of gratitude for the countless blessings you are bestowing upon us. For you are reassuring us that “if we have faith and doubt not, we shall not only perform miracles like the one done to the fig tree, but if we say to this mountain, ‘be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea,’ it shall be done.” Thank you for this powerful reminder that true faith is anchored not in the fleeting sights before our eyes, but in the steadfast trust softened deep within our hearts.

Lord, in your wisdom, you are reminding us that when we have faith and cast aside every doubt, we become instruments of miraculous transformation, capable of moving mountains in our lives and the lives of those around us. In our belief, the world can be reshaped, and we gain the strength needed to manifest the extraordinary.

Lord, strengthen our faith. Often, our hearts feel weighed down by doubt, fear, and uncertainty, and we lose sight of your great power. Yet, in this moment of sincere prayer, help us to choose to surrender everything to you, laying our concern at your feet. Replace our uncertainties with energies of your divine truth. Deepen our understanding of your holy word and help us to meditate on your truths daily, so that when trials arise, our hearts remain anchored steadfastly in you. Grant us ears to hear your wisdom, eyes to recognize your handiwork, and hearts eager to respond to your call.

May our lives radiate your boundless love, drawing others closer to your embrace. Empower us to be living testimonies of your goodness, to share words of encouragement that uplift spirits, and to act with compassion and kindness. Father, let the faith we carry flow outward, touching the lives of our families, friends, coworkers, and even strangers, ensuring that your name is glorified in every moment and every interaction we have.

Lord, renew our strength. When we declare to this mountain, “be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea,” help us cling to your promise that it shall indeed come to pass. For those who feel overwhelmed by hopelessness, remind them of your steadfast promises. For those in mourning, be their source of comfort. For those wandering in darkness, be their guiding light. And for those who feel unworthy, extend to them the grace of your forgiveness.

Father, we are lifting our heartfelt prayers for healing, restoration, reconciliation, provision, and peace. We trust that your plans for us are greater than anything we can imagine, and that your timing is flawlessly perfect. Help us not to surrender to discouragement when answers seem to linger in the distance, but rather to embrace the understanding that you are coordinating everything for our ultimate good. Remind us that true faith is not about anticipating immediate results, but about placing our trust in your eternal power.

Lord, fill us with your holy presence. Guide our steps so that every decision we make, every word we utter, and every action we take are rooted in love and harmoniously aligned with your divine will.

Father, may our prayer become a profound commitment to unwavering faith that endures each day. For with boldness our mountains will move, our chains will break, and our hearts will overflow with hope, for you are eternally faithful to your promises. We close this prayer with reverence and joy, we trust that you hear us, that you love us deeply, and that you will carry us through every challenge we face.

In the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray… Amen.

Everyone. Please have a great day, and by God’s grace, we will pray again tomorrow…Bye-bye.
