Oct 15. Day 288 - God is Forgiving. Ephesians 4.32

Elyon Bible Church Apostolic Season 3 Episode 288

Send us a text

“And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Jesus Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” (Ephesians 4:32)

Welcome to another daily prayer. Prayer works. It's important to embrace kindness towards one another and demonstrate a tenderhearted spirit that fosters understanding and compassion. In moments of conflict or misunderstanding, God wants us to forgive each other wholeheartedly, just as He has graciously forgiven us through Jesus Christ. This divine act of mercy serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of extending grace to everyone we encounter.

Good morning, everyone. I want to welcome each and every one of you to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast.

I am your host, Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Co-Pastor of Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in New Jersey.

I thank God for another day, Another privilege, and another opportunity to come before Him.

Like the songwriter said, from the moment we wake up until we lay, we can sing of the goodness of God.

Today, we are praying with assurance.

Our scripture will be taken from Ephesians 4: 32. And it reads, “Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, as God for Christ's sake forgave you.”

Today, forgive. And remember, God is a forgiving God. Remember the goodness of God.

Let us pray with assurance.

Father, we thank you for another day. We thank you for your grace and your mercy. We thank you for being our God. Lord, we thank you for this day that you woke us up with the desire to pray, the desire to seek you, and the desire to surrender to you. The desire to allow you to be our God, our Savior, our Lord, and our Redeemer.

Lord, you have been so faithful to us. Father, today we are asking you to help us, to do the things that are pleasing to you. Please forgive us Lord, of everything we have done and said that was not pleasing to you.

Help us, not to be caught up in the things that are not pleasing. But help us to be caught up in you, for you are a forgiven, God.

Father, thank you for reminding us today that we need to be kind to one another.

Lord, we are praying and asking you to help us, to be generous. Help us to be considerate of others. Help us, to love others because you have loved us.

Help us, Lord God, not to be self-focused, but to be religious-focused. To surrender fully to you so that your will can be done in us.

Lord, please forgive us of everything that we have done and say that was not pleasing to you.

And help us, Lord God, as we go through this day, to think of you, to surrender to you so your will can be accomplished in our lives.

You are a good God, a wonderful Savior and a mighty God. A God who will never forget us, a God who will never let us down.

Give us the strength we need to make Heaven our home, to fully surrender to you, and to fully serve you wholeheartedly. because of all that you have done for us.

Lord, thank you, you said we should be kind one to another, and we should be tenderhearted. A lot of times we are not tenderhearted. But thank you for reminding us, God, that you have the power to present us faultless. Lord God, you have been forgiving us. Help us to forgive, be tenderhearted, be gentle, to be royal, and to be loyal to others, and to you, Lord God, and to our families all around the world. Lord, we are praying and thanking you for your goodness. Help us to become good people of God. Not momentarily, not people who get caught up in the things of this world. But let all of us, God, surrender fully to you so that all our lives, we can fully serve you, and be gently and tenderhearted to everyone we encounter, everyone we meet. Lord, you said we should be kind, generous, considerate, to one another, and tenderhearted, because of your desire for us.

And so Lord God, thank you for reminding us that we ought to be good, loving and kind, because that's your desire for us. Not only to do this for you, but to everyone we encounter, to be kind and generous and tenderhearted to them. Lord God, you also remind us today, that we should forgive one another.

Lord God, at times it can be hard to forgive, depending on what, your people are going through. Oh, God, thank you for reminding us to forgive. Please help each and every one of us to forgive. Oh, God, give us a forgiving spirit, a forgiving heart.

So, Lord God, like the song writer, all our lives you have been faithful, we can be so, so good to you, faithful to you, generous, considerate, humble, and forgiving.

Lord God. Oh, Father God, that's your desire, Lord, for us to forgive one another.

And I know, Lord God, many have been through issues and trials and tribulations, that was hard. Oh, Father God, but forgive us, Lord God, and help us, Lord Jesus. Father God, you are our God.

You are our Savior, and you have forgiven us. You have, God, forgiven us of every thought and action and behavior that was not pleasing to you. So help us, Lord God, as we go to this day, to forgive others because you have forgiven us.

Help us, Lord God, not to be cumbersome with the issues of this life. But Lord God, help us to put our faith and trust in you. Lord God, transform us. Remove stony heart. Remove the spirit of ungodliness, of unforgiven. Remove that spirit, and help us to forgive and to love and to care for others because of what you have done for us, God.

Oh, Father God, help us in everything we do and say that is pleasing to you. Father, we thank you for everyone who are listening to this podcast today. And God, we are praying for each and everyone because Lord, you know what everyone is going through.

You know God, the issues of this life, the times can be hard. God, sometimes the people, can be hard. but Lord, we are asking you to help all of us, to be kind to one another, to be tender hearted, and to be forgiven of one another.

Lord, thank you. And ask God to help us to keep on praying, keep on trusting you, keep on believing you. And please, Lord, take control of everyone who are listening to this podcast.

Help us all to have a great day. In your wonderful name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you, Lord.
