Elyon Bible Church Apostolic Season 4 Episode 37

Send us a text

2 Chronicles 7:14 - If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Welcome to another daily prayer. Prayer works. Humble yourself, pray, seek God, and turn from wicked ways. The Lord will hear, forgive, and heal you. “If my people, who are known by my name, choose to humble themselves by recognizing their shortcomings, and earnestly pray to me with sincere hearts, seeking a deeper connection with my presence, and turning away from their harmful and selfish behaviors; then I will respond from the heavens, granting them forgiveness for their transgressions, and I will restore and heal their land, revitalizing it and bringing forth a new sense of hope and renewal.”

Good morning, everyone. Welcome each and every one of you to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast.

Remember, I am your host. I am Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Prayer Warrior of Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in New Jersey.

God is a good God, and He has done so much for me. Like the songwriter said, “Who am I that the bright and morning star would choose to light my way from my ever-wandering heart?”

We can truly surrender to God, because it's not because of who I am or who you are, but it's because of what God has done for us.

Our scripture today will be taken from 2 Chronicles 7:14. And it reads, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Today, God is reminding us that He's a mighty God who will hear our prayers, who will forgive our sins, and who will heal our land.

God wants us to humble ourselves, pray, and seek Him each day. So we're asking God for guidance as we go through this prayer.

Let’s pray.

Dear Heavenly Father. Our Lord, our God, our Savior, our wonderful Redeemer, and our forgiver.

Lord, you are great and you are greatly to be praised. Father, none can even be compared to you. And like the songwriter, we can ask the question, Who am I?

Thank you for doing so much for us. You have given so much for us. Today, we are praying. Because it is not about who we are. It's not because of what we have done, but it's because of what you have done for us.

God, we are praying and asking for your guidance. Thank you for another day and another moment to pray. Help us to seek you, to humble ourselves to you, and to pray earnestly each and every day, so that your will can be accomplished in our lives.
Lord, thank you for promising that if we, your people, who are called by your name, will humble ourselves, pray, seek you, turn from our wicked ways, then you will hear from heaven, you will forgive our sin, and you will send healing throughout this land.

Lord, we thank you for reminding us that you are a wonderful God. Thank you for reminding us that we are your chosen people. We are the ones you have separated and set apart for yourself.

Thank you for choosing us, God. Who is my God? Who are we that you should select us as your chosen generation? Who are we, God, that you should set us apart for yourself? God, we are not even perfect to be in that position, but we thank you for having mercy upon us.

Thank you, God, for reminding us it's not because of who we are, but it's because of what you have done and who you are, and you desire for us. You want us to become more like you. You want us to lay aside everything that's not of you and run this race with the patience that you have set before us.

Lord, thank you for reminding us that we are your people. Help us to be humble. Help us to pray earnestly. Help us to develop a relationship with you that will help us not to sin against you. Help us to acknowledge everything that we did that was not pleasing to you. Every sin that we have committed reminds us of. Help us to turn away from things that are not pleasing to you and help us to gravitate to you and the things that are pleasing to you.

Lord God, when we do things that are not right, help us to hear you because you have been a good God. Oh, God, help us to hear from heaven. Help us to forgive others, because you have forgiven us.
God, heal us from everything that's not of you and help us to become the people you have destined us to become.

Lord, you said when we do the right things, when we humble ourselves before you, when we pray, and when we turn from wicked ways, you will hear from heaven, you said you will forgive our sin, and you said you will heal every one of us who are going through sickness, disappointment, or discouragement in this world.

God, sometimes we feel like a flower is quickly fading, like the songwriter said, here today and gone tomorrow. But you're reminding us that you are with us. You are our God. You will hear us. You will answer us. You will take care of us because of the love, the joy, and the grace you have in store for us.

Lord God, please guide us on this path of righteousness, and help us to totally surrender to you so that your will can be accomplished in our lives. Help us to stop sinning and stop doing things that are not pleasing to you.

Help us to live holy, God, because you are holy. Help us to live right because you are right. Help us recognize your forgiveness each and every day so we can be forgiven and also forgive others.

God, help us to remove everything from our minds that is not pleasing to you, and pray more earnestly and surrender totally to you so that your will can be accomplished in our lives.

God, we thank you for reminding us of this scripture. We thank you for your power that has always moved in our lives. Thank you for not giving up on us. Thank you, Lord God, for being our Savior, our Lord, and our Redeemer.

Lord, you are reminding us that you are ours, God, and there's nothing that you cannot do.

God, we are praying and surrendering to you and asking you for help. Thank you for reminding us that we, your people, who are called by your name. We should humble ourselves, we should pray all the time, each and every day, we should seek you, and we should turn from every wicked way, every discouraging way, everything that is not pleasing to you. We should turn away from them, because your desire, Lord God, is to hear our cry and our prayer each day from heaven. Your desire is to forgive us of everything that is not pleasing to you. Your desire is to send a healing into this world, a healing in our bodies, a healing in our minds, a healing in our thoughts that will purge us, purify us, and make us more like you.

So, we thank you for your healing touch. We thank you for your revival. We thank you for your breakthrough. We thank you for your forgiveness. And we thank you for your power. Thank you for hearing our prayer and allowing us to pray another day. In your holy name, we pray, Amen.

Lord, thank you. Hallelujah. I want to encourage everyone who is listening to this podcast. Keep on praying. Keep on trusting God. Keep on believing God. And have a wonderful day.
