Jan 8 - Day 8. Peculiar Treasure. Exodus 19:5*

“If ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine.” (Exodus 19:5)

Welcome to another daily prayer. Keep on praying. You are God's treasured possession. Obey his voice and keep His commandment. Therefore, if you are willing to truly listen to my voice and faithfully uphold my covenant, you shall become a unique and cherished treasure in my sight, set apart from all the nations of the earth. Remember, the entirety of the earth is mine, and you will hold a special place among my chosen people.

Good morning, everyone. I hope your day is off to a great start. And I want to welcome each and every one of you to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast.
Remember, today is the 8th day of the year. God has been blessing us and doing great things in our lives because of the love He has for us. 

Remember, I am your host, I am Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and the Prayer Warrior of Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in New Jersey. 

Our scripture will be taken from Exodus 19:5, and it reads, “Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine.” 

God is so good to us. He's reminding us that prayer works, and he wants to keep us safe. He wants us to keep on praying, keep on obeying him, and keep his covenant, because he wants us to be a treasure of possession. 

Lord, I thank you. Thank you so much, God, for reminding us of your greatness. 

Let us pray. 

Dear Heavenly Father. Our wonderful Savior, our God, our Deliverer, our Assurance.

Lord, we thank you for another day, and we thank you for this privilege to pray, the privilege to surrender to you, the privilege for you to become the Lord and God of our lives.
 Lord, we thank you, because if it had not been for you, Lord God, we don't know where we would be, but we are joining with the songwriter today. See what the Lord has done, what we have waited for; God has come to pass in our lives. That's why we are able to see this day. That's why we are able to pray. That's why we are able to surrender to you because you are a good God. You have never given up on us. You have never discouraged us. You have never let go of us, Lord, because of your love and your grace and your mercies towards us. 

Lord, today we can surrender fully to you so that your will can be accomplished in our lives.
 Lord, help us to pray and seek your direction. Help us to pray and seek you wholeheartedly. We want to obey you. We want to keep your covenant. We want to be blessed. We want to become the people you're destined for us to become.
 So thank you, God, for your particular treasure. Thank you for your destination and your desire for each and every one of us. Thank you for reminding us of the power you have for us and the will that you desire to do for us.
 Thank you, Lord God. Like the songwriter said, we can see what the Lord has done. We can experience your power, see how your power is moving in our lives, and see your direction taking place in us so that we can become more like you.
 Help us to always pray. Help us to always listen to you. Help us to always keep your covenant faithfully and surrender wholeheartedly to you.
 Lord God, help us to enjoy and be grateful for the treasure and possession that you have in store for us. Help us to become the particular treasure you're destined for us to become. Help us to see what you have done each and every day in our lives. Help us to see your power, to see your direction, to see your will, and to surrender wholeheartedly to you. 

Father, you know everyone who is listening to this podcast. You see every need. You see every desire. You see every one of us, and you know what's going through our hearts. You know what the enemy has in store for us. 

But most of all, God, you know the blessing you have in store for us. We want to enjoy your blessing. We want to grow more and become more like you. We want to celebrate you. We want to get to that place where we enjoy the things of God, each day in our lives.
 So help us to include you, God, in all of our decisions each day. Help us to pray for your protection and guidance each and every day. Help us to remember that you are God who can do more for us than we can even do for ourselves.
 Lord, we thank you for everyone who is listening to this podcast. And we are reminding them not to give up on you, but to become the particular treasure you have in store for them. 

Lord, we are praying for all of our families near and far. We are praying for all of our friends. We are praying for all of our leaders. We are praying for all of our defenders, everyone in leadership, all those in the hospital, and all of those who are taking care of us.
 We pray for them that the power of God will move upon every doctor, every nurse, every guidance, so that your will can be accomplished in every one of our lives. 

Father, we need more of you. We have sometimes driven so far from you. But thank you for reminding us, God, that everything we desire can come to pass if we see what you have done. Thank you for reminding us, God, that your power and your desire are for us to grow more in you. Your power and for us, God, to obey your voice, to keep God, your covenant with us, to keep your desire for us, so we can become the treasured possession you desire for us to become. We can become the particular people of God you desire for us to become. 

Help us to see all that you are doing in our lives. Help us not to give up on you, Father. Help us not to get discouraged. Help us, Lord God, not to give up on the hope of God that can move in our lives. 

But help us to trust you. Help us to believe you. Help us to take you at your word. Cause we serve a holy God. We serve a righteous God. We serve an everlasting God. We serve a wonderful God.
 So today, God, we are rejoicing, we are glorifying you, because we are seeing what you have been doing in our lives. And we thank you for everything. 

Thank you for everyone who is listening to this podcast. Thank you for everyone who is trusting you. Help us never to give up on you. So, your will to accomplish in our lives.
 In Jesus' holy, mighty, and wonderful name we pray. Amen.
