Welcome to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. Today, we are going to pray with the scripture taken from Acts 4:12. And it reads, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
As we pray, let us reflect on the powerful name of Jesus Christ. He is reminding us that salvation cannot be found in any other name but Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven that holds the power to save us. The Lord's name is powerful; it is through his extraordinary power that we can achieve deliverance and hope.

Let’s pray
Dear Heavenly Father. Our Lord, God, and Savior. Father, we come before you with hearts overflowing with gratitude. Thank you for reminding us that neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among humanity by which we must be saved, except for the name of Jesus Christ. We acknowledge you as our Savior, our Redeemer, and our living hope. No power of this world, no effort of our own, no other name or path can redeem us, only you, Lord. You alone are the way, the truth, and the life.
Lord, thank you for your mercy that met us when we were lost, weary, and unable to save ourselves. Thank you for loving us first, for calling us by name, and for drawing us to yourself with kindness rather than condemnation. We are grateful that our salvation does not depend on our perfection, our strength, or our understanding, but on your finished work on the cross. You alone are enough, and your grace is sufficient for us today.
Jesus, there are times when we look for security, meaning, or rescue in places that cannot truly save us. We place our trust in our own efforts, in other people, in success, or in temporary comfort. Forgive us for the moments when we forget that only you can heal what is broken deep within our souls. Gently redirect our hearts back to you, and help us to rely fully on your truth and your promises.
Thank you for the sacrifice you made out of love. Thank you for bearing our sin, our shame, and our guilt, and for exchanging them for forgiveness, freedom, and new life. We are humbled that you willingly laid down your life so that we could be restored. Let the weight of that love sink deeply into our hearts, not as distant theology, but as living reality that shapes how we think, how we speak, and how we live.
Lord, you see every one of us. Some are burdened by regret; others by fear and grief. You see each heart, and you know every sorrow. Draw us nearer to you. Reveal yourself as the Savior who welcomes the broken and does not turn away those who come in weakness. Lord, use us as reflections of your love, so that others can see you through our words and actions.
Lord, thank you that your name carries authority, healing, and peace. In your name, chains are broken, wounds are healed, and hearts are transformed. Remind us that when we speak your name, we are calling on the living God who reigns over every circumstance. Strengthen our faith when it feels small, and anchor us in truth when doubts arise. Help us to remember that you are faithful even when our emotions waver.
Lord, teach us to live as people who have been saved by grace. Help us to walk in humility, gratitude, and obedience. Let our lives reflect the hope we have found in you, not through pride or judgment, but through love, patience, and compassion. Shape our character so that it resembles yours, especially in moments that test us. Give us hearts that forgive quickly, listen deeply, and love generously.
Lord, we are also praying for those who have never heard your name or who misunderstand who you truly are. Open doors for truth to be shared with clarity and gentleness. Give courage to those who speak of you, and soften the hearts of those who hear. Let your light shine in places of darkness, confusion, and despair, so that many may come to know the salvation that is found in you alone.
Lord, as we close this prayer, we declare our gratitude for your name, your sacrifice, and your saving grace again. We choose to place our hope in you alone, confident that you are the way, the truth, and the life. May our hearts remain anchored in your love, our minds renewed by your truth, and our lives guided by your Spirit. We give you all the honor, the glory, and the praise, now and always.
We pray all of this in the mighty, saving, and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior…Amen.
Everyone, please have a blessed day, and by God’s grace, we will pray again tomorrow.
