Welcome to another episode of the EBC's Prayer Podcast. Our prayer will be aligned with the scripture taken from Matthew 18:19, and it reads: “Again, I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.”

As we pray, let us allow God’s power of intercession to take place in our lives. The Lord wants us to come together in harmony on earth. He wants us to unite our hearts in agreement over any matter that is requested. For it is his will to grant us what we are praying for, the Lord is highlighting the power of collective faith and the responsiveness to appeals made in unity.

Let’s Pray

Dear Heavenly Father. Our Lord, God, and Savior. Father, we come before you with humble hearts and grateful spirits. Thank you for being a God who is not distant, but close; not indifferent, but deeply compassionate. Lord, in this moment, we are clinging to your promises. That when two of us agree on earth concerning anything we ask, it will be done for us by our Father in heaven. Lord, we hold onto that promise with faith and confidence, knowing that you hear every sincere prayer and every cry of the heart.

Father, we thank you for the gift of agreement in prayer. We thank you that you never intended for us to walk this life alone, but that you have placed people around us so that we may stand together, encourage one another, and lift our voices to you as one. When we join our hearts in faith, you promise that heaven listens. When we unite in prayer, you promise that you are present among us.

Lord, today we come into agreement with one another and with your will. We ask that your presence fill this moment. Let your peace settle over every heart that is praying right now. Quiet every anxious thought, calm every troubled spirit, and remind us that you are near. You are a loving Father who delights in hearing the prayers of your children.

Father, we ask that you strengthen our faith. Help us to believe your promises even when circumstances seem uncertain. Teach us to trust your timing, your wisdom, and your goodness. When we pray together, let our hearts align not only with each other but also with your perfect will. Shape our desires so that they reflect your love, your mercy, and your truth.

Lord, we lift before you every need represented in this moment. You see every burden that weighs heavily on our hearts. You know the worries we carry, the decisions we must make, and the situations that seem beyond our control. We bring these concerns to you with confidence because you have told us that when we ask in agreement, you hear us.

Father, we ask for your guidance. Shine your light on the paths before us. Give wisdom where there is confusion, clarity where there is uncertainty, and direction where there are many choices. Help us to recognize your voice and to follow wherever you lead. Let our steps be ordered by your hand.

Lord, we also pray for healing. For anyone who is hurting physically, emotionally, or spiritually, we ask that your healing touch rest upon them. You are the great physician, the one who restores what is broken and renews what is weary. Bring comfort to those who feel discouraged, strength to those who feel weak, and hope to those who feel overwhelmed.

Father, we ask for peace. In a world filled with noise, worry, and unrest, fill our hearts with your quiet assurance. Let your peace guard our minds and hearts. Help us to remember that you are in control and that nothing is too difficult for you.

Lord, we pray for unity among us. Help us to support one another, to encourage one another, and to carry one another’s burdens. Let our words be filled with kindness, our actions guided by love, and our hearts open to the needs of those around us. Teach us to live in harmony so that our prayers rise to you in unity and faith.

Father, we also thank you for the blessings you have already given. Thank you for your constant presence in our lives. Thank you for the ways you protect us, provide for us, and lead us even when we do not always see it. Your faithfulness never fails, and your mercy is new every morning.

Lord, as we continue in agreement, we place our trust completely in you. We believe that you are working even now behind the scenes, arranging circumstances, opening doors, and bringing answers in ways that only you can. Help us to remain patient and hopeful as we wait for your perfect plan to unfold.

Father, remind us that prayer is not only about asking, but also about drawing closer to you. Let this time together deepen our faith and strengthen our relationship with you. Help us to leave this moment with renewed courage, knowing that we have placed our concerns into your loving hands.

Lord, we thank you for hearing our prayers and for your promises that never fail. When we gather in faith and agreement, you are present and attentive. With grateful hearts, we trust that you will move according to your perfect will.

Father, as we close this prayer. We place everything into your hands, believing that you are faithful to do what is good and right. Help us to close with faith, believing that you will hear us, and that your answers will come in a way that will bring glory to your name. help us to rest in the assurance that you are faithful, and that your promises are unshakable. We surrender ourselves, our needs, and our desires into your hands. For if we agree on earth concerning anything we ask, it will be done for us by you, our Father in heaven. For you are our hope, our salvation, and our strength. Lord, we trust you completely, and we thank you for the privilege of prayer.

In the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we pray …Amen.

Everyone. Please have a great day, and by God’s grace, we will pray again tomorrow…Bye-bye.
