“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that kept thee will not slumber.” (Psalm 121:1-3)
Welcome to another daily prayer. Keep on praying. “I will lift my eyes to the hills, seeking inspiration and strength from the majestic heights around me, for from these lofty peaks comes my help. My help is rooted in the Lord, the creator of heaven and earth, who watches over all that is. He is steadfast and unwavering; He will not allow my foot to slip in the trials I face. The one who preserves my well-being is ever vigilant, never resting, constantly attentive to my needs.”
Good morning, everyone. Welcome each one of you to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. I am your host. I am Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Co-Pastor of Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in New Jersey.
We are rejoicing and giving God thanks for another day and for all that he has done for us. We can surely rely on the Lord, because there's no limitation in what God can do for us.
Our scripture today will be taken from Psalm 121:1-3. And it reads, “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that kept thee will not slumber.”
Today God is giving us assurance that he will not allow us to be slumbering. He is keeping us all right, holy, righteous if we surrender to him. So let us pray with confidence today and trust God so that his will can be accomplished in our lives.
Let’s Pray
Lord, thank you for another day, thank you for your grace and your mercy, and thank you for your help. Thank you for your protection, thank you for your guidance, and thank you for your reassurance.
Lord, thank you for giving us the privilege to pray another day. The privilege to trust you. The privilege to fully surrender to you, and the privilege to take you at your word.
Lord, you have not given up on us. You have always been a holy God. You have always been a righteous God. You have always been a wonderful and holy, mighty Savior. We know God, that is because of you, while we're here today.
Father God, we are lifting ourselves to you and surrendering to you because you are from whence cometh our help. You are a helpful God, a God who will always help us, a God who will always deliver us, a God who will always send a breakthrough in our lives, even when we don't see the possibility.
And so Lord God, we are thanking you for not giving up on us and for reminding us that it's all right to pray. It's all right to surrender to you. It's all right to trust you.
Lord God, prepare us to be a sanctuary. People who are holy, those who are not afraid to pray, who are not afraid to surrender to you because you're reminding us that you are God, and we need to look to the hill from whence cometh our help.
Lord God, our help comes from no one else but from you. You are God who can help us in ways we don't even think possible. A God who can open doors for us that we never thought would be open.
Lord, today we are praying, and we are surrendering to you, and we are asking for your direction, covering, and protection. God, as we go through this day, help us to have a great day. Help us to fully surrender to you. Help us to pray with assurance. Help us to trust you wholeheartedly. Help us to depend upon you. Not to take you for granted. Not to give up on you, but to believe that with God, all things are possible.
Lord God, help us, you know what lies ahead of us. Sometimes we don't see, but you know how to turn things around. Even when they come off as wrong, you can turn them around for our good. And so, Lord, we are thanking you and praising you and honoring you today because you are so good to us.
Lord God, you are our creator, the one who created the heavens and the earth. You are our majesty and higher, the mighty God, the holy God, the righteous God. Oh God, you do everything. You made this world. And so, Lord God, we know that we can put our focus on you. We know we can surrender fully to you because you will keep us safe. You will cover us under your blood. You know how to protect us from danger seen and unseen.
Lord God, allow us to surrender to you, not to slip, not to fall with the issues of this life, but to fully surrender to you. We want to praise you. We want to become the people that you're destined for us to become. We want to be prayer warriors, souls who are saved, souls who will never give up on you, souls who will not stop praying, who will not doubt you, who will not get caught up in the things of this world. But people who are willing to pray, willing to be used by you.
Lord God, we are surrendering to you and asking you for your help. Help us to look beyond our faults and help us to see your need to see what you want us to become, to fully surrender to you, to fully trust you, so you can open the windows of heaven and shower us with a blessing that we won't even have room enough to receive because you are a mighty God.
Lord God, thank you for being attentive to the cry of each and every one of us, your people. Thank you for intervening on our behalf. Help us to rest on your promises. Help us to declare your wonderful works to everyone we encounter. And to pray hopefully, knowing that you will never fail us because you are a mighty God.
Lord, we thank you for this privilege of being brought together to pray. We thank everyone who is listening to this podcast. Lord God, everyone who is praying, everyone who is trusting you, everyone who is surrendering to you. God, you see every need. You know the heart of all of us. You know those who are in need of help and those who are surrendering to you, asking you to intervene and take hold of their lives.
God, you see everyone, and we are praying and intervening that you will move in all of our lives in a mighty way. Help us never to give up on you, never to limit you, but to always trust you because you are a mighty God, you're everlasting Father, and you're a wonderful King of Kings.
We thank you for everything. As we pray in your holy, mighty, and wonderful name, we pray. Thank you, Lord. Amen.
I want to encourage everyone who is listening to this podcast to keep on trusting God, keep on praying, keep on believing in God, and let His will be accomplished in your lives. Have a great day, and we'll pray again tomorrow…Bye-bye.
