Welcome, everyone, to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. Our scripture today will be taken from Isaiah 43:1-2. And it reads: “Thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel: 'Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.”

Prayer works. God is giving us assurance, and he's reminding us that we belong to him. He created us, and he has a great, wonderful, and mighty call for our lives. 'Do not be afraid, for the Lord has redeemed us; He has assembled us by our name; we are precious and cherished in his sight. When we find ourselves going through the difficult moments of life, we can rest assured knowing that he will be right there beside us.

So, as we pray, let us give God thanks, for when we walk through the fire, we will not be consumed; the fire will not harm us, nor will the scorching heat leave a mark upon us because God is with us.

Dear Heavenly Father, our Lord, God, and Savior. Father, we come before you with our hearts bowed in reverence, lifted in praise, and filled with gratitude. You are the Holy One of Israel, the One who lovingly knit us together in our mother’s womb, who numbered our days before one of them came to be.

Lord, we exalt your name, for you are holy, righteous, merciful, and true. There is none like you in all the earth. Father, thank you for calling us your children. You did not abandon us in our sin, nor did you leave us without hope. Instead, you redeemed us, washed us clean, and gave us new life.

Lord, you are reminding us “that you, God, who created us, O Jacob, and you formed us, O Israel: “Fear not, for you, God has redeemed us; you have called us by our name and reminding us that we are yours. When we pass through the waters, you will be with us; through the rivers, they shall not overflow us. When we walk through the fire, we shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.”

Father, we are calling on your holy name and thanking you for reminding us that you are a powerful God, a God who has so much authority, a God who can do great things for us. We need to have confidence in you, knowing that nothing is impossible for you. God, thank you for encouraging us and reminding us that you will redeem us. You will take care of us so we don't have to be fearful. We don't have to doubt. We can see what you have done for us all these days, all these years. You have done so much for us. We have seen your miracles taking place in our lives. We have seen your greatness even in the midst of sorrow. You step in, and you intervene in a mighty way. You provide for us when we thought the door was closed.

Lord, help us to hold fast to your promise today. In a world full of fear, uncertainty, and trials, help us to find peace in knowing that we belong to you. Sometimes we falter. Sins feel deep, and the issues of life rise high. Trial sometimes threatens to sweep us away from you. Yet, you are assuring us that it is you who formed and created us. Lord, you have a plan for each and every one of us when you created us. Teach us how to surrender to you.

Father, what comfort it is to know that we are never abandoned, never forgotten, and never left to walk alone. Help us to believe that we are called by name, chosen, and loved by you. Remind us that our worth is not in what we do, but in who you are. Lord, strengthen our faith so that when fear whispers into our hearts, we don’t have to be afraid, for you will redeem us. Lord, help us to stand firm when the storms of life rage around us. Teach us to lift our hearts to you when the rivers of life flow into our lives, for you will not let them overflow us. Thank you for reminding us that despair threatens to overtake us when problem comes, sickness, disappointment, and sorrow, and it seems like a flaming fire burning. God, you will step in and not allow it to destroy us because of the love you have for us. Instill in us a spirit of prayer that is unceasing, that in all circumstances, whether in joy or in sorrow, we will call upon your holy name.

Lord, remember our families, please send us unity, healing, provision, and protection. Restore what has been broken and renew what has grown weary. We are praying for your wisdom to guide parents, your strength to uphold children, and your grace to cover every generation.

Lord, in a world filled with division, anger, and fear, teach us to love one another as you have loved us. Teach us to extend grace, to seek justice, and to walk humbly with you. Father, help us to grow in our prayers. Pray earnestly and align our hearts with yours. Shape our desires and teach us to trust in your timing, knowing that you are faithful and that you work all things together for the good of those who love you and are called according to your purpose.

Lord, may your joy fill our hearts, so we can lift our voices in thanksgiving to you, the Giver of every good and perfect gift. When we pass through the waters, you are with us. When we walk through the rivers, they will not overflow us. When we walk through the fire, we will not be burned; the flames will not consume us.

Lord, thank you for reminding us of your greatness. Thank you for reminding us that no matter what we are going through in this life, we will come out as pure gold because your will comes to pass in our lives. You will never leave us. You will never forsake us. God, we are praying for everyone who is listening to this prayer podcast. You see every need. You know what everyone is going through, the struggles, the trials, the disappointments of life.

Lord, intervene in every one of our lives and send a deliverance that we don't even have room enough to receive. Thank you for encouraging us to pray with assurance, pray with confidence, and trust you in your holy, mighty, and wonderful name.

We close this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, our Father, and holy one of Israel, we pray…Amen.

Everyone. Have a great day, and by God’s grace, we will pray again tomorrow…Bye-bye.
