Jan 19 - Day 19. Be Strong and of Good Courage. Deuteronomy 31.6

“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” (Deuteronomy 31:6)

Welcome to another daily prayer. Prayer works. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord thy God is with you. "Be strong and have courage; do not let fear overwhelm you or allow anxiety to take hold. Remember that the Lord your God walks beside you every step of the way. He is always with you, providing support and strength in times of trouble. Trust in His promise that He will never abandon you or leave you to face your challenges alone. With His presence, you can face any obstacle that comes your way.

Good morning, everyone. Let us praise and thank God for another day and another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. Today is the 19th day of the year, and God is still blessing and praising us, because He wants us also to bless and praise Him. So let us glorify Him. 

Remember, I am your host. I am Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Prayer Warrior of Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in New Jersey.

Our scripture today is taken from Deuteronomy 31:6. It reads, “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” 

Today, you can pray, and with joy, be strengthened, be courageous, and fear not, for God is with us. And as we go through this day, we know that He will prosper it and help it to be a wonderful day. 

So let us pray.

Dear Heavenly Father, our Lord, our God, and our wonderful Savior. Lord, we want to thank you for this day and for another privilege to pray. We know that you are good, and we know that there's no God who can even be compared to you because you alone deserve all the praise, the honor, and the glory.

Thank you, Lord God, for reminding us that everything we have comes from you. And so, Lord, today we are praying and praising you. 

We honor and worship you because, God, you are worthy. You are worthy of every praise, every honor, and every glory. You are holy and you are righteous. And none can be compared to your Father. 

Help us not to give up on you. Help us remember that we need you every day. We need your guidance and comfort every day. So, help us praise you and honor you today, God. Help us glorify you, Heavenly Father. You are a wonderful Savior. You are a holy God. You are a righteous God.

Father, we thank you for encouraging us that we can be strong, we can be courageous, and we can have confidence in you.

Lord God, no matter what we are going through in life, help us to trust you because you are a faithful God. A God who will never fail us. 

God, thank you for encouraging us to pray and not to be fearful. Do not be afraid of the things of this world or of the issues of life. Help us, Lord God, to know that we serve a holy, mighty, and wonderful God.

We serve a God who can do more for us than we can ask or think of. So, help us to have joy as we go through this day. Help us to have happiness when we surrender to you and pray earnestly. Help us to truly submit ourselves to you so that your will can be accomplished in our lives. 

Lord, you are a powerful God. You are a holy God. You are a righteous God. A God that will never abandon us. A God that will never give up on us. A God that is reminding us that prayer works and that we can be powerful in prayer because prayer never fail. 

A God who has not given up on us, so, Lord, help us to be brave and not worry about the issues of this life. Don't worry about the problems that may come our way. But help us, God, to seek you wholeheartedly, to pray each day with assurance because you are God who is able to do abundantly above all that we could ever ask or think of. 

Today, God, we are rejoicing. Today, God, we are praying. Today, God, we are seeking your direction. And Lord, we are asking you to guide us, to keep us safe, to protect us, and to cover us under your blood.

Help us to find honor and glory in your holy name. Help us not be consumed with the issues of life that would give up hope on you. But help us to have hope in you, God, to become the people you truly want us to become, to become the prayer warrior that you want us to become, to pray wholeheartedly like you want us to pray, to include you in all of our decision, to seek you for guidance, to reach out to you even when the issues of life seems overwhelming, even when we don't know what the outcome will be.

Help us to be strong and be of good courage, God, in you. Help us to be courageous. Help us to thank you. Help us, Lord God, not to give up on you. Father, you will never give up on us. 

And so today, God, we are praying with authority. We are praying with assurance. We are praying with joy. We are praying with hope. We are praying with  assurance. 

Lord, we are trusting you. We are believing you. And we are hoping for your best interest in our lives. 

God, thank you for reminding us not to fear, not to be fearful, not to be afraid, not to be doubtful. We serve a holy God who can do more for us.

God, you will never forsake us. You will never let us down. You will never discourage us.

And so today, God, we are praying for all of our families near and far. We are praying for all of our leaders near and far. We are praying for everyone in your churches all over the world. We are praying for everyone who are listening to this podcast and everyone who are praying. We are praying for the mighty power of God to move in our lives. 

Oh, God, help us to be strong and courageous. No matter what the issues of life may throws our way, help us not to give up on you, God, because you have never given up on us, Lord God. 

Help us, Father God, to know we serve a holy, mighty, and wonderful God, who is gracious, powerful, and mighty. And God help us not to fear. You will intercede on our behalf.

Thank you for reminding us, God, that you will never give up on us. But the power of God will move in our lives. 

And so today, God, we are surrendering ourselves and our families all over the world into your hands. God, there are times we are seeking a breakthrough that seem impossible. At times, we are seeking deliverance that seems impossible. At times, we are seeking God, your power in our lives that seems impossible. But Lord, today we are praying and asking you not to give up on us, God, so that we will never give up on you. We are praying and asking you, Lord God, to help us not to stumble or fall, but to trust in you, the God in whom we serve, because we serve a mighty, powerful, and wonderful God who will never let us down.

So, thank you for this day and thank you for all that you are encouraging us to do, and for all that you have done for us.

Help us to have a wonderful day. In your holy name we pray. Amen.
