Feb 5 - Day 36 - Great is the Lord. 1 Chronicles 16:23-25

“Sing unto the LORD, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation. Declare his glory among the heathen, his marvelous works among all nations. For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised” (1 Chronicles 16:23-25)

Welcome to another daily prayer. God is powerful and truly worthy of our praise. Sing unto the Lord, all the earth; let your voices ring out from every corner, proclaiming His salvation day after day. Make known His glorious attributes to the nations, and share the wonders of His marvelous deeds with all people. For truly, the Lord is great, and His greatness deserves our highest praise and reverence.

Good morning, everyone. Welcome to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. 

I am your host, Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Co-Pastor of Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in New Jersey.

God has been a wonderful God to us, and he's reminding us of the faith, the love, and the hope that we can have in him. Great is our God and greatly to be praised. So have confidence in the Lord as you go through this day.
 
Our scripture will be taken from 1 Chronicles 16:23-25, and it reads, “Sing unto the LORD, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation. Declare his glory among the heathen, his marvelous works among all nations. For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised.” 

Today, let us pray and celebrate the Lord. Praise him, because he deserves all praise, honor, and glory that we can give unto him. 

Let’s Pray.
 
Lord, thank you for this day, thank you for all that you have done for us, and thank you for where you have brought us from and where we could have been.
 
Lord, we thank you for waking us up with the mind, the heart, and the desire to pray. We thank you for not giving up on us. Help us to trust you, to pray, and to believe in the God in whom we serve. 

Lord, we are so grateful for this day, and for the confidence to pray and surrender to our great God, who deserves all the glory, the honor, the praise.
 
God, thank you for waking us up this morning with the desire to surrender to you, to seek you, to pray, and to surrender to you. 

Father, you want us to sing unto you and to exalt you. You said all the earth shall show forth from day to day your salvation, so here we are before you, God, declaring your glory, honoring you, and showcasing the great God in whom we serve, the wonderful God, the holy God, the God who can do more for us than we can do for ourselves. 

Lord, here we are before you, praying, surrendering to you, and asking for your will to be accomplished in our lives as we go through this day.
 
 Help us to always have confidence in you, always trust you, and always believe that we serve a great, mighty, powerful, and wonderful God.
 
 A God who can do marvelous things in our lives. A God who can create, or God's satisfaction in a life that sometimes seems cumbersome. A God who loves us unconditionally, who sacrificed himself to prove this love for us.
 
 So help us to declare your glory, to sing and to glorify you, to show forth the wonders that you have done in our lives. Father, help us not to give up on you. Help us to trust you wholeheartedly, to pray and surrender fully to your will.
 
Father God, you are a good God. You have done glorious, mighty, wonderful works for us. You are great and greatly to be praised.
 
God, as we get up in this day, we ask you to help us praise you throughout the day, to glorify you, to honor you, and to let your will be accomplished in our lives. Father, you know more about us. You know what this day has in store.
 
 Lord, we are asking you to go ahead of us and prosper this day, because you are a good God. You are a wonderful God. Remove destruction from our minds. Remove doubt from our minds. Remove fear from our minds. And help us to praise you, because you have done so much for us.
 
 Help us to give you the glory that's due on to your holy name, because of all that we have done for this family, all you have done for every one of us who are on this earth, you have been good. 

Lord God, we honor you, and we have confidence in the God in whom we serve, the glorious God, the wonderful God.
 
 Lord God, help all of our families near and far to praise you, to glorify you as they go through this day. remember everyone who is listening to this podcast. You see every need. You know what each person is going through. And so Father God, I'm asking you to take control over each and every one who is praying and listening to this podcast. 

Let the power of God move in our lives, transform us, and help us become the people of God we are destined to become. Help us not to get cumbersome with the desires and cares of this world that we forget to sing, glorify you, surrender to you, and praise you. 

God, thank you for reminding us of Daniel and the lion's den and all that he has gone through, thank you for reminding us of Moses. And thank you for reminding us, all of your people, David. There are so many people who know how to praise you in the midst of a situation in their lives. So God, we want to praise you.
 As we go to this day, help us to praise you. Help us never to forget about you. Help us to always remember the holy God we serve, who can do more for us than we can do for ourselves.
 
 In your mighty name we pray. Amen. Thank you, Lord.
