Jan 23 - Day 23 God Will Strengthen Us. Judges 16:28.

Elyon Bible Church Apostolic Season 4 Episode 23

Send us a text

“And Samson called unto the Lord, and said, O Lord GOD, remember me, I pray thee and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.” (Judges 16:28)

Welcome to another daily prayer. Keep on praying. Reach out to the Lord for guidance. He will respond to you and provide the strength you need. As Samson lifted his voice in desperation, he called out to the Lord, pleading earnestly, “O Lord GOD, I ask You to remember me. In this moment of profound need, I beseech You to grant me strength once more. Just this one final time, O God, allow me to seek vengeance upon the Philistines who have wronged me and taken my sight.” His heartfelt plea resonated with a mix of sorrow and determination, reflecting the burdens he carried and the power he longed to reclaim.

Good morning, everyone. I want to welcome each and every one of you to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast.

Today is the 23rd day of the year, and God is still protecting and covering us and keeping us safe, so we can pray and rejoice and give him thanks for another day.

Remember, I am your host. I am Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Prayer Warrior of Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in New Jersey.

Our scripture today will be taken from Judges 16:28, and it reads, “And Samson called unto the Lord, and said, O Lord GOD, remember me, I pray thee and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.”

Today, the Lord is encouraging us that we can come before Him, we can pray, and He will strengthen us. Like the songwriter, sometimes our mountains and the issues of life is just so high, but down on our knees, like the songwriter said, we can learn to trust God, we can learn to grow, we can learn to pray, and we can learn to surrender.

So, let us call on the Lord today and ask Him for strength, let us pray with guidance, and seek God’s protection.

Let’s pray.

Dear Heavenly Father, our wonderful Savior, our God, and our Redeemer.

Father, we are praying with assurance and we are giving you thanks for another moment, and for another privilege to surrender to you.

Lord, we know that prayer works, and we know it's your will for us to keep on working, praying, keep on trusting you, keep on believing you, and keep on trusting you as our wonderful Savior, our God, and our Redeemer.

Lord, thank you for reminding us that you are a wonderful God and nothing is impossible for you. We can become the people that you're destined to become. So, help us to keep on praying, help us to humble ourselves, help us to surrender ourselves. Help us not to give up on you, because God, you have not given up on us.

We are joining with the songwriter, God, that we can't even walk without you holding our hands. We see, God, that there's nothing impossible for you. So, help us to pray. Guide us as we go through this day. Cover us under your blood. Keep us strong and united in you.

Oh, Father, God, help us not to give up on you, because you will never give up on us, Lord God.

And Samson called on you during his time of need. Oh, God, a time of great problems. And, God, we are calling on you today. You see all of our needs. You see all of our difficulties. You see all the struggles that we go through in life.

At times, God, we have plans and things now working out as we have planned. At times, we don't know the outcome, but God, you are reminding us today that we need to pray, surrender to you because you are God of mercy, God of strength, a God who will never give up on us.

And so we thank you for that reassurance today, and we are praying with joy because great is the Lord and greatly to be praised.

Lord, we know you see problems. We know you see difficulties. We know you see sickness. We know you see weakness. We know you see temptation. And God, we know you see problems and areas that we are lacking in our trust in you. But Lord, we are praying today.

Lord, we get on our knees and pray and trust that  you, the God will serve can do more wonderful things in our lives than we have room enough to receive.

And so, God, we are praying for power today. We are praying for encouragement today. We are praying, Lord God, that you'll help us to face the challenges of life with joy, knowing that we can go through anything because you are with us and you are more than those who are against us.

Lord God, help us to overcome the obstacles of life. Help us to overcome the problem of life. Help us to pray earnestly and surrender fully to you so that your will can be accomplished in our lives.

Lord, help us not to give up on you, but help us to remember we serve a marvelous, wonderful, and powerful Savior. A God who is merciful and caring more than we are to ourselves. A God who will help us, in every era of our lives. And so, Lord, we are presenting our problems to you. We are presenting our difficulties to you. And we are asking for your protection.

Protect everyone who is listening to this podcast. Everyone who is praying, protect them. Everyone who is calling upon you, protect them.

Open windows of heaven that we don't know will be possible to open. Open doors that we never thought would open, and continue to remind us that just like Samson at times, we're going through issues in life that we need the mighty power of God, a mighty virtue, a mighty deliverance.

So, thank you, Father, for reminding us to pray. Thank you for reminding us the prayer works. Thank you, for reminding us that you are a holy God and nothing is impossible for you.

Lord, we are praying for strength today.

Lord, we need more strength. We need more anointing. We need more power.

Lord, help us as we go through this day. Cover us under your blood. Remove every distraction, every doubt, everything that's not of you. Give us the strength we need to make heaven our home and to make this a good day.

In your wonderful, holy and mighty name we pray.

Thank you, Lord. We need you in all that we do every day. We need more of you.

I want to encourage everyone who is listening to this podcast. Don't you give up on God. He will never give up on you. And you have a wonderful day. We pray again tomorrow. Bye-bye.
