Jan 25 - Day 25 Pray and Rejoices. 1 Samuel 2:1.

“Hannah prayed and said: “My heart rejoices in the LORD; in the Lord, my horn is lift high. My mouth boasts over my enemies, for I delight in your deliverance.” (1 Samuel 2:1)

Welcome to another daily prayer. Prayer works. Rejoice in the Lord and delight in His Salvation. He has great things in store for you. Hannah lifted her voice in heartfelt prayer, proclaiming, “My heart rejoices in the Lord; my strength is renewed and exalted through Him. With a deep sense of joy, I look confidently at my adversaries, for I find solace and triumph in Your divine salvation.”

Good morning, everyone. I'm praying that your day is off to a wonderful start. And welcome each and every one of you to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast.

Remember, I am your host. I am Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Prayer Warrior of Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in New Jersey. God has done so much for us so that we can surrender to Him.

Remember that prayer works, and we can rejoice and give God thanks and be delighted in His deliverance for our lives. We can surrender ourselves, because God has done so much for us. And we can't even walk without God holding our hands. So let us surrender to Him, so His will can be accomplished in our lives.

Our scripture today will be taken from 1 Samuel 2:1. And it reads, “Hannah prayed and said: “My heart rejoices in the LORD; in the Lord, my horn is lift high. My mouth boasts over my enemies, for I delight in your deliverance.”

Just like Hannah, we can pray and rejoice in the Lord because He's going to deliver us. And we can delight in His deliverance. 

So, let’s pray. 

Father, we want to thank you for this day. We want to thank you for your grace and your mercy and your love towards us. 

Father, you are our King of Kings, and you are our Lord of Lords. You are our Savior. You are our God, and you are our deliverer. 

Lord, there's none that can be compared to you, and none is as great as you. And we can't even walk God without you holding our hands, because no matter what we go through, we can trust and believe that you have better in store for us than we even have for ourselves.

Lord God, we are thanking you for this day, and we are thanking you for this moment and another privilege that we can come before you and pray. And Lord, we are thanking you for being a merciful God, a God who has not given up on us. 

Lord, we are praying with rejoicing today, and we are giving you thanks for your graciousness. We are giving you thanks for your love. We are giving you thanks for the joy that you're showing us today, so we can have a joyful day knowing that we can surrender to you, let you lead, let you guide and direct our lives. So please, Father, please go ahead of us and prosper this day.

Lord God, remember all of our families near and far. We're surrendering everyone to you, because God, we're asking for your direction, for your help as we go through this day. So, help us to surrender fully to you and give you thanks and glorify you.

Lord, we are lifting our voice with praise today in our prayer, and we're exulting you. Our heart, God, is rejoicing and joyous because you are the horn of our salvation. 

Lord, you are our strength. You are our delight. You are our deliverance. You are our liberation. You are everything we want to be, and much more. So thank you, God, for giving us joy today. 

Lord God, you are reminding us that when we are weak, you are strong. When we feel doubtful, you are powerful. When we don't know what the outcome will be and feel, Lord God, life is not restoring what it needs to restore, we can have hope in you. 

We thank you for your countless blessings that you are bestowing upon us, your love, which you are showing us. We thank you, God. Help us to be victorious today. Help us to pray earnestly each day. Help us to rejoice in joy and hope and peace because you are a merciful God, who will never forget about us, who will never give up on us. 

Lord, thank you for not forsaking us. Thank you, Lord God, even when we are not perfect, you still show your love to us. Even when we are not always surrendering to you as we should, you are still there. You're showing us your grace and your mercy and love that passeth all understanding. 

Lord, deliver us and protect us each day from danger seen and unseen. Let your power move in our lives, and keep us safe with things that are possible, because sometimes we don't know the outcome. Sometimes we don't know what you have in store, but you are reminding us of the power, the full God that we serve, the powerful God who is not giving up on us. 

Lord, we thank you. Oh, God, may our hearts always rejoice. May our souls always praise you, because you are a holy God and a wonderful Savior. 

Lord God, help us to confirm the plans that you have in store for us, and understand that you are God who can do more than we could ever ask or think of. 

God, we are praying with joy, and we are asking for your guidance. We are asking you, God, to guide us on the path of righteousness and help us not to give up on you. Help us to always pray. Always seek your guidance. Always do what you want us to do.

Father, God, we are joyful today because just like Hannah, God got to the point where she decided to pray.

Sometimes life does not come the way we intended for it to come, but that should not stop us from praying. Oh, Father, God, she was going through a moment in life that was displeasing and bringing sorrow to our hearts, but God, she got on her knees and she prayed. And during her prayer, she started rejoicing. During her prayer, she felt the joy that only you can bring our way. 

God, today, we are praying for everyone who is praying, for everyone who is going through difficulties. 

We are encouraging everyone, don't stop praying.

Oh, Father, God, help us to keep on praying, keep on surrendering to you, because God, in the midst of problems, you are giving us joy. In the midst of sickness, you are giving us hope. In the midst of disappointment, you are giving us assurance.

And so, Lord, help us to delight in your deliverance, delight in your praise, delight in your promises. 

Help us not to stop praying, not to give up on you. 

Oh, Father God, like the songwriter, we can’t even walk without you holding our hands. We can't even become exactly what we ought to become until we surrender to you and pray with assurance so your will can be accomplished in our lives. 

So, Lord, we thank you today for interceding on behalf of Hannah. And we thank you today for interceding on our behalf.

We thank you for being our Lord, our God, and our Savior.

In your holy, mighty, and powerful name we pray…Amen. 

Thank you, Lord. Today, we encourage everyone who is praying. Don't give up on God. Sometimes we can't even understand what life has in store. But we can pray and trust God and let his will be accomplished in our lives.
