EBC Prayer's Podcast
Jan 26 - Day 26 Throne of Glory. 1 Samuel 2:8-9.
“He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD's, and he hath set the world upon them. He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.” (1 Samuel 2:8-9)
Welcome to another daily prayer. Prayer is essential. You will receive the throne of glory as your inheritance. The Lord elevated the destitute from the depths of despair, lifting the humble beggar from the filth of their circumstances, and placing them among nobility, granting them a share in the throne of glory. For the very foundations of the earth belong to the Lord, and He has established the world upon them with unfaltering strength. The Lord will safeguard the steps of His faithful ones, while the wicked will be rendered mute in the darkness, for no man shall succeed by his own might alone.
Good morning, everyone. welcome each and every one of you to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. Today, we can join with the songwriter and say that anything that happened to you, you know God did it. Good things God has in store for us.
Today is the 26th day of the year, and God is still blessing, still covering us, and still protecting us. So, we're going to pray with joy, and we're going to rejoice and give him thanks for who he is and what he has done for us.
Remember, I am your host. I am Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Prayer Warrior of Elyon Bible Church, Apostolic in New Jersey.
Our scripture will be taken from 1 Samuel 2:8-9, and it reads, “He raised up the poor out of the dust, and lifted up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord's, and he hath set the world upon them. He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.”
We can give God thanks today because God's desire is to lift us up and to set us on high. We can pray with rejoicing and know that God will do more for us than we could ever ask or think of.
So, let’s pray.
Dear Heavenly Father. Our wonderful God, our Savior, our Lord, and our Redeemer.
Father, we thank you for all that you have done. We thank you for being our holy God, our righteous God, our everlasting Father, our King of Kings, and our Lord of Lords.
Father, you are a glorious God who can do more for us than we could ever ask or think of. And so, Lord, we are praying with gratitude and thanksgiving, because you are protecting us and keeping us safe each and every day.
Help us to keep on praying. Help us, Lord God, to reference your holy name. Help us not to give up on you, because you will never give up on us.
Father, we are praying, because you raise the poor out of the dust, and you lift the beggar from the down hill and set them among princes.
God, sometimes we don't know what the position in life has in store, but we thank you for reminding us today, God, no matter what our position is, you can raise us up and set us on high. You can make us princes when it comes to the people of God. You can make us people who will serve you uprightly, people who will worship you with all of their hearts, people who will surrender fully to you and not give up on you.
Lord, today we are praising you and giving you thanks because what a mighty God we serve, the wonderful Savior we serve, can do so much more for us than we can even do for ourselves. All things are possible to you.
You are God who did it for us. And so, Lord God, thank you for promising to multiply us, to increase us, to promote us. so, we can be exalted because of your love and mercy towards us.
Lord, we can do so much more because of what you are doing in our lives and all the blessings you have in store for us. And so, Lord God, we are praying today because in moments of uncertainty, we don't know what the outcome has in store, but we thank you for reminding us that no matter what we are seeing, even if we're not seeing the good effect in our lives, your desire is to promote us, your desire is to bless us.
Lord God, we are praying today and asking you to help us to trust you, help us to be thankful, help us to increase God in every position in our lives. help us, to inherit the throne of glory that you have in store for us. And so, Lord God, as we go through this day, help us to rejoice because of the blessing that you're sending our way, because of the blessing that you are blessed with, because of the hope we have in you, that we can be glorious today.
Father, it is not by our will that we are even prevailing, but it's by your power. So, help us to be faithful people of God. People who will completely surrender unto you, and reverence your holy name.
Help us, Lord God, to know that nothing is impossible with you and that you are more than we could ever ask or think of, because of all the grace you have in store for us.
So protect us, Lord God. Protect our family. Protect our friends and neighbors. Protect our leaders. Protect everyone who is listening to this podcast. And increase us physically, spiritually, and mentally. Help us not to give up on you because of all the blessings that you have in store for us.
Thank you for reminding us, Lord God, that you will raise us up on a life that does not seem right. Those who are poor, you raise us up so that we can be modest. You will raise up those who are in a mystery of issues of life, that seem so heavy-laden.
Your desires to lift us up and to set us among princes, God, to set us on high, to set us in glory so that we can worship you and praise you like never before. And most of all, God, you say you want us to inherit, O God, the throne of glory.
And so, God, we are praying and serving you because we know that one day God will make heaven our home. One day, God, we, Lord God, can inherit the throne of glory. One day, God, we can be beside you, be with you in the position and place that you have in store for us.
And so, Lord, we thank you today. We're worshiping you as our God. We're worshiping you as our Savior. We're worshiping you because you are mighty and wonderful, and nothing is impossible for you. And so, Lord God, you are the pillar over this earth.
You, God, have the power to give us comfort even in a time of trouble and disappointment. You know how to keep us safe. God, keep us rooted and grounded in you. And so, Father, we thank you for encouraging us to be rooted, to keep on praying, not give up on you, because your desire is to bless every saint and encourage all of us to continue to hold on to you and your mighty and powerful unchanging grace.
Lord, remember everyone who is listening to this podcast. I pray, Father, God, that your power will move upon every life, every heart, and every believer, so that we will not give up, God, we will not doubt you, we will not get discouraged, but we hold on to the promises you make, God, because we're blessing, your promise to bless us, to multiply us, to raise us high, and to help us to inherit things we never thought possible.
And so Lord, we thank you. Cover all of us under your blood as we go through this day, and help us to have a wonderful day.
In your mighty, powerful, wonderful name we pray. Amen.
I want to encourage everyone who is listening to this podcast. God desires to bless us and make our lives great.
