Jan 27 - Day 27 Do not stop crying out to the LORD. 1 Samuel 7:8.

Elyon Bible Church Apostolic Season 4 Episode 27

Send us a text

“They said to Samuel, “Do not stop crying out to the LORD our God for us, that he may rescue us from the hand of the Philistines.” (1 Samuel 7:8)

Keep on praying. In our prayer today, we are pleading with our leaders, saying, Do not cease with your fervent prayers to the Lord our God on our behalf. We are in dire need of His intervention, asking that He may save us from the overwhelming grip of the enemy, who threatens our very existence. The Lord will hear and answer our cry for help, rescue us, and keep us safe.

Good morning, everyone. Welcome each and every one of you to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. Remember, today is the 27th day of the year, and God is still our God. So, we are going to trust him and let his will be accomplished in our lives.

Remember, I am your host. I am Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and the Prayer Warrior of Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in New Jersey.

Our scripture will be taken from 1 Samuel 7:8. And it reads, “They said to Samuel, 'Do not stop crying out to the LORD our God for us, that he may rescue us from the hand of the Philistines.”

Today, we can join with the songwriter and ask the Lord to help us.

The Lord doesn't want us to give up on him. So, don't stop praying. Keep on trusting him, because he can do more for us than we can ask and think of, and he will rescue us and keep us safe.

So, let’s pray.

Lord, we thank you for this day. We thank you because you are our everlasting Father. You are our King of Kings, and you are our Lord of Lords. There's no God like you, and none that could be compared to you.

Father, we are praying and thanking you for this day, thanking you for your love, thanking you for the gift of salvation, thanking you for your blessing, thanking you for your encouragement, and thanking you for reminding us that it's okay at times to pray and cry and seek you.

Lord God, we don't know the future of life, but we can find protection in you, comfort in you, because you are God who cares and understands the desires of our hearts and the pressure of life.

And so, Lord God, you told us not to stop crying, not to give up on you because you will rescue us, and you will keep us safe. And so, Lord, we are joining with the song Oh, Lord, We want you to bless us. Take care of us, God, and cover us under your blood.

Oh, Lord God, keep us safe as we go through this day. We thank you for waking us up with the desire to pray, the desire to surrender to you. And we don't know what this day has in store, but we know we serve a wonderful God, a God who can do more for us than we can do for ourselves.

So help us, Lord God, as we go through this day. Oh God, Samuel did not stop crying, but he reached out to you in tears. So, Lord God, we are crying out today and reaching out to you for help. You see the need of everyone who is praying today. You see the need of everyone in this world. Some are hurting. Some are going through problems that life doesn't seem to be resolving. Some are going through sickness, which brings pain and sorrow to the hearts of many. Some have been through financial struggle, and some have lost loved ones. But God, whatever life is throwing our way, help us to trust you, help us to believe you, and understand and know that you will hear and answer our prayer.

So, Lord, God, go ahead of us. We are asking you, Father, to protect us as we go through this day. Keep us safe from danger seen and unseen. Watch over us. Remove everything that's not of you and give us comfort through this day.

You know more about us, God, than we know about ourselves. Cover our families under your blood. Everyone who's praying and seeking you under your blood, every leader, cover under your blood.

Father, you know everyone in this world. You see all the positions and everyone who is surrendering to you, and you know them by name and number. Let your will be done in our lives.

So, we thank you, Father. Thank you for interceding on our behalf. Thank you for rescuing us. Thank you for promising us that you can do wonderful things in our lives.

Lord, please do not cease from hearing our prayers. Please do not stop responding to the tears that we are crying.

Oh, God, remember your people who are seeking you for help, those who are crying out for a solution, who are crying out for intervention in their lives.

Please, Lord, don't give up on us. Deliver everyone. Deliver all of us, God, from trouble seen and unseen. Oh, God, help us to know you more than we ever thought we could know. Protect all of us under your blood, and let your will be accomplished in our lives.

Oh, God, we need your divine intervention every day. Help us as we go through this day. Oh, God, and give us the power to believe that all things are possible, for you are our God. The Spirit to trust you and depend upon you.

Help us to live a life that will reference your holy name and glorify you because you have always been good. And so, Lord, we are joining and singing and praising you.

Oh, Lord, help us, protect us, and keep us safe. We are crying to you, Lord. Thank you for reminding us that Samuel cried because he needed your intervention in his life. He cried because he needed your help. And God, you intercede on his behalf and remind us that the same way you intercede on his behalf, you will intercede on our behalf.

You will intervene in our lives. You will make way for us that we never thought possible. You will do things for us that we never thought we would do. You will bless us with a blessing that we don't even have room enough to receive. You will open doors for us and do things for us that we never thought possible because of the love that you have in store for us.

You are God, and nothing is impossible for you. So, we are rejoicing today, and we are giving you all the praise, the honor, and the glory that's due unto your holy name. We are worshiping you. We are honoring you, and we are glorifying your name.

Thank you for this day. Thank you, Lord God, for all that you have done for us. Oh God, we want you to bless us. We want you to help us. Oh God, help us on this journey. Help us on this day.

And Lord God, cover everyone who is listening to this podcast under your blood. Let none of us give up on you, but help us to keep on praying, keep on trusting you, so your will can be accomplished in our lives.

In Jesus' name we're praying…Amen.

Keep on praying, everyone, keep on trusting God. He is God. Nothing is impossible for him. Have a great day, and we'll pray again tomorrow. Bye-bye
