“And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saved not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD's, and he will give you into our hands. (1 Samuel 17:47)

Welcome to another daily prayer. Prayer is powerful. Let it be known that the Lord does not rely on the might of swords or the power of spears to secure victory. For the battle ultimately belongs to the Lord, and in His strength, He will deliver you into our hands.

Good morning, everyone. Welcome each and every one of you to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast.

Today is the 28th day of the year, and God is still moving in our lives, still protecting us, and still blessing us.

Remember, I am your host. I'm Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Prayer Warrior of Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in New Jersey.

We can join with the songwriter, Oh Lord, I want you to protect me, to keep me safe, because you know more for us than we even know about ourselves.

Our scripture today will be taken from 1 Samuel 17:47. And it reads, “And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saved not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord's, and he will give you into our hands.”

Today, keep on praying. The Lord will protect and keep you safe, for the battle is his. So, ask the Lord to help you. Ask the Lord to keep you safe and protect you, because that's his desire.

So, let’s pray.

Dear Heavenly Father. Our wonderful Savior, our Lord, our God, and our Creator, the one who spoke and it was done, the one who commanded and it stood fast.

Father, we thank you for this day, and we thank you for the privilege to come into your presence and pray.

Lord, thank you for helping us to humble ourselves and be grateful for the privilege that you have given us and the blessing that you have bestowed upon us.

Lord, help us as we go through this day.

Lord, we thank you for assuring us that we can pray with joy. We can rejoice because God, life at times may seem heavy, but you save not with a spear. Oh God, you don't save with a sword, because you have better things in store and you are in control.

God, you can do more than we could ever ask or think of. Lord, it is your strength and divine intervention that gives us the victory. And so God, we are thanking you for reminding us that the battle is not ours, but the battle is yours, God.

Keep us praying, keep us surrendering, keep us leaning on you, keep us trusting you, and understanding that you are God and you can do more than we could ever ask or think of.

Lord, you have the power to save us, you have the power to keep us, you have the power to deliver us. God, we are asking you to continue to save and add new saints to the ministries.

Help all of us not to give up on you, all of us not to doubt you, but to remember how wonderful you are. Father, you are always with us, always staying close, always going ahead of us, always giving us blessings, always protecting us, always delivering us. We don't know the adversary at the time, we don't know the danger that's coming our way, but God, you have equipped us with faith to stand firm and to believe that we serve a God who is holy, who is mighty, who is powerful, who can do great things in our lives.

Father, help us to lay aside everything and every weight and pray with patience, pray with gratitude, and thank you for reminding us that you are the one in control. You are God, and there's nothing impossible for you. We want to stand firm, we want to hold on, we want to become the people of God that you're destined for us to become.

Father, that's why we are praying and giving you thanks today. Thank you for waking us up. Thank you for giving us the desire to pray. Thank you for bringing us together. Remember, everyone who is listening to this podcast. Everyone who is praying.

Help them not to doubt you. Let none of us give up on you. We know you save. And sometimes, God, we're expecting physical issues to take place. But God, you say you don't save with sword or spear, for the battle belongs to you.

You, God, have the power. You just want us to give everything into your hands, surrender to you, so you can take control because you are powerful.

We thank you for reminding us of this journey. For God, we want you to bless us. We want you to protect us. We want you to keep us safe on this journey.

Doesn't matter what life has in store; we want to believe that our God is able to do abundantly above all that we could ever ask or think of. And so today, God, we are praying for everyone who is surrendering to you, everyone who is making the decision to give their lives and serve you. God, we are praying for each and every one today.

Help all of us, God, not to give up on you, not to withdraw from you, not to doubt you, not to take matters into our own hands. But God, help all of us to surrender to our holy, mighty, and powerful God. Help us to keep on praying and keep on asking you for help when we don't see the result.

Keep on trusting you. Keep on believing that you will protect and keep us safe. Keep on understanding that the battle of life, the issues of life, the difficulties of life, and all the battles belong to you.

So, God, take control of all of our battles. We are giving it to you, God. Sometimes we don't know the result of this life, but God, we are asking you to help us have a prosperous day.

Help us have a good life. And God, whenever issues or difficulties or problems enter our direction, Father, we are praying that you go ahead of us and bless us. Remove every doubt, every fear, every disappointment, every sadness, every discouragement, every issue in our lives that causes us pain and sorrow; we are surrendering to you, and we are asking you for help.

Oh God, I want you to help us. Help us on this journey. Help us in this life. Help us not to give up on you. Help us not to stop praying. Help us not to doubt you. But help us to serve you, holy because holy is the Lord and worthy to be praised. You can do more for us, God, than we can do for ourselves.

So, keep us on this journey. Help us each and every day. In your powerful, mighty name we pray…Amen.

Thank you, Lord. I want to encourage everyone to keep on praying. Don't give up on God, because He has not given up on us. Have a great day, and we'll pray again tomorrow. Bye-bye.
