Jan 30 - Day 30– Call unto God. 2 Samuel 22:4

“I called to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and have been saved from my enemies.” (2 Samuel 22:4)

Welcome to another daily prayer. Prayer works. Call unto the Lord. He is worthy of all praise and glory. In doing so, we will find solace and strength, knowing that we shall be delivered and protected from those who seek to harm us.

Good morning, everyone. Welcome to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. Today is the 30th day of the year, and God is still blessing us, still providing for us, and still opening doors for us.

Remember, I am your host. I am Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Prayer Warrior of Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in New Jersey.

Our scripture will be taken from 2 Samuel 22:4, and it reads, “I called to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and have been saved from my enemies.”

God wants to bless us. He wants us to keep on praying. He wants us to know that prayer works and we should call upon Him because He will keep us safe. He will show up and rescue us. 

So, let’s pray.

Dear Heavenly Father, our Lord, God, and Savior.

Father, thank you for this day, and thank you for the privilege to come before you in prayer. Thank you for the privilege to call on your Holy Name, and thank you for the privilege to surrender to you. 

Lord, we want your will to be accomplished in our lives. We don't want our will, but your will to be accomplished. Because you know more about us than we even know about ourselves, so help us, Lord God, not to wander away from you, but help us to draw closer to you. 

Lord, this is the day that you have made. So, help us to rejoice and be glad in it. God, we want you to bless us. 

Lord, as we go to this day, we are praying for your recognition. We are praying for your severity. We are praying for your power. We are praying for your will to be done in our lives.

God, you are worthy of all praise, and we need your intervention as we go to this day. Protect us, God. Keep us safe. Cover us under your blood and let nothing that's not of you come nigh us, but let your will be accomplished in our lives.

Father, you know more about us than we even know about ourselves. And so, Lord, we are praying and giving you thanks and calling on your holy name because you are worthy of every praise. Thank you for saving us from our enemy. Thank you for protecting us in the midst of life's difficulties. Thank you, Lord God, for being our strong tower and our refuge in times of need. Thank you for leading us on the path that you have in store for us. Thank you for not giving up on us. Thank you for waking us up with the desire and the mind to pray. Thank you, Lord God, for everyone who is listening to this podcast, for everyone who is praying, for everyone who is surrendering to you.

Lord, we give you thanks because you have not given up on us. You could have passed us by, but God, you turn around and you have mercy upon us because of the love you have for us. You, Lord God, never give up on us, even when we give up on ourselves.

God, we are praying for your anointing power. Help us to pray each day with glory and give you thanks because of your protection and your guidance in our lives. Help us, Lord God, to live a life that is pleasing to you and help us to continue to pray, not only for ourselves, but today we are praying, God, for everyone who is going through issues in life, for everyone who is going through problems, for everyone who is growing through difficulties. 

Lord, we don't know at time the result of issues, but we serve a God who can do more for us than we can do for ourselves, a God who can deliver us, a God who can set us free, a God who can break every yoke, a God who can send deliverance that we don't even have room enough to receive. 

And so, Lord, we want you to bless us. We want you to help us to prosper. We want you to move, remove difficulties, remove problems, remove discouragement, remove everything, God, that causes us to doubt you, that causes us to give up on you, and help us to have faith more abundantly in your grace. 

Lord, thank you for interceding on our behalf. Thank you for responding to the cry of your people. Thank you, Lord God, for helping us to live a life that brings glory and honor to your holy name. Thank you, Lord God, for helping us to pray each day with assurance because we serve a holy and mighty God.

Lord, we are calling because you are worthy of every praise, honor, and glory. You are worthy to be lifted high. You are worthy to be glorified.

Lord, we are giving you the praise because you have saved us from danger, seen and unseen. You have saved us from enemies that we don't even have control over. Sometimes, we don't even recognize the issues of this life, but you know all things.

God, we are surrendering everything into your hands. Oh, Father God, we know that this is the day that you have made. And we are here today praying because of your guidance.

Go ahead of us, God, and prosper this day. Help us as we go through this day not to doubt you, not to give up on you, not to get discouraged, not to get disappointed. 

Oh, Father God, help us to believe in you, believe in your power, believe in your might, believe that you can do more for us than we can do for ourselves.

But most of all, God, help us to believe that you're worthy of every praise and help us to keep on praising you, keep on glorifying you, keep on honoring you as we go through this day. Help us not to stop worshiping you, not to give up on you, because holy is our Lord God Almighty. Worthy is our Savior.

Oh Father God, we honor you and glorify you for this day. And Lord God, the privilege to surrender to you, the privilege to call on your holy name, the privilege to pray and seek you wholeheartedly. 

So, help us, Lord God, on this journey of life. Help us to keep on praying. Help us not to give up on you, because you have never given up on us. So, we thank you for this wonderful day.

In your holy name we pray…Amen.
