*Feb 2 - Day 33. God Hear Prayers. 2King 20:5
“Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.” (2Kings 20:5)
Welcome to another daily prayer. Prayer works. God is listening to your heartfelt prayers and witnessing the sorrow reflected in your tears. He promised us healing. On the third day, we will ascend to the house of the Lord, where we can offer our thanks and praise.
Good morning, everyone. Thank God for another day, and for each and every one of you.
Remember, I am your host. I am Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Co-pastor of Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in New Jersey. Welcome, everyone, to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. Remember, prayer works, and God will hear our cry, for He will see your tears, and He will heal us, deliver us, and set us free. God has great plans for each and every one of us. So, we're going to trust God.
Our scripture today will be taken from 2 Kings 20:5. And it reads, “Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.”
Today, God is encouraging everyone who is going through sickness and difficulty in life, like King Hezekiah in the Bible. Just as God intercedes on his behalf, the Lord is reminding us that he will intercede on our behalf.
So today, we are going to pray for healing, deliverance, and a breakthrough in our lives.
Let’s pray.
Dear Heavenly Father.
Father, we thank you for another day and another moment to pray. And as we go to this day, we are celebrating and thanking you because it could have been otherwise, but you help us see this day because of the love you have for us.
Lord, your peace is like a river that can flow to our hearts, flow to our minds, flow to our spirits.
Lord God, you are encouraging our hearts not to get discouraged, but to have hope in you, to believe in you, to stand firm by your word, and to trust you.
You have never failed. Your words never fail. You have always been a joyful, understanding, and loving God. A God who cares more about us than we care for ourselves. And so, Lord God, when Ezekiah was on his way to give up life on earth. Lord God, he prayed, and he asked you for your healing and intervention. And God, you showed up and delivered him.
Today, God, we are praying and asking for your healing and intervention in our lives. We are praying for peace. We are praying for joy. We are praying for happiness. We are praying for your love to penetrate our hearts, minds, bodies, souls, and spirits.
Lord God, you know how to heal, deliver, and set us free. You know how to move by your power in our lives in a way we never thought possible.
And so, Lord, we are thanking you, and we're crying and asking for your help. Oh, Father God, send physical healing throughout our body, emotional healing, and spiritual healing. We need your intervention mightily in our lives. We need a breakthrough that only you can provide.
Lord, you promised to be with us in times of distress, in times of sorrow, in times of heartache, and in times of pain. And so, Lord God, we thank you, because even when the pain of life seems uncertain and unbearable, you are reminding us that we can pray, trust you, and surrender to you, because you are listening to our prayers.
You are listening to our voices, whether verbal or God's interior. God, you are hearing our cries. You know our tears. You hear everything that proceeds from our mouth, our heart, our mind, and our body. And you see every tear.
So many of your people are going through issues in life that make them cry. And you see the tears, whether they are in the hospital, and sometimes they can't move or know what to say. But, God, you see the tears. You see the desires of all those who are sick and in need of intervention.
You see the desire of all those who are going through medical, cancerous, and other issues in life. God is taking hold of the body. And God, you see, we are asking you to intervene and send peace to the hearts of everyone who needs intervention in their life, everyone who is crying to you.
Lord, we know you are a powerful healer and a God who wants to comfort your people. Because you are reminding us that you have done it before and will continue to do it for us if we just surrender to you, serve you, have joy in you, have peace in you, and allow you to take control of our lives. We will see your mighty work move in our lives in a special way.
Lord, remember all those who are listening to this prayer podcast. You'll know what's going through the hearts of all of your people. You'll know the interventions that are taking hold of our lives. You'll know the distress that is knocking on our doors.
Oh God, we are asking you to give everyone peace and give joy.
Oh God, those who are praying and trusting you, let them not give up on you, but help us to keep on praying, keep on trusting you, keep on believing you. Those who are not sure what the rest of this day has in store, help us to believe that we serve a mighty, powerful, and holy God, a God who will and can do everything for us, because you are a wonderful Savior. We thank you for this day, and we thank you for another moment to pray.
God, we are asking for your will to be accomplished in our lives, and we are thanking you for your healing touch and your healing power throughout this world.
In your mighty name, we pray. Amen.
I want to thank all of you for praying. Trust God, believe in God, and don't give up on him.
Let his will be accomplished in your life, and if you need a healing touch, I'm praying that God will heal you. Please have a great day, and we'll pray again tomorrow…Bye-bye.
