“And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” (1Chronicles 4:10)

Welcome to another daily prayer. Don’t stop praying. God will bless, enlarge, and keep you from evil. Jabez earnestly sought the Lord, calling upon the God of Israel with a heartfelt plea: “Oh, that You would truly bless me, granting me the abundance I desire, and expanding my territory. I ask that Your powerful hand be with me in all my endeavors, guiding and supporting me. Furthermore, please protect me from harm and evil, so that I may avoid the grief and sorrow that such misfortune brings. In response to his sincere prayer, God graciously granted Jabez exactly what he had requested.”

Good morning, everyone. Hope your day is off to a great start, and welcome to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast.

Today is February 3rd, the 34th day of the year, and we are rejoicing and giving God thanks for all that He has done for us.

Remember, I am your host. I'm Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Co-pastor of the Elyon Bible Church of Apostolic in New Jersey. With God, all things are possible because He has been a good God.

Our scripture today will be taken from 1 Chronicles 4:10. And it reads, “And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.”

Don't stop praying. Today, God will grant you what you requested. Fall in love with the Lord because his mercy is being good to us. So, we are going to pray and bless the Lord, He promised to enlarge our course and to keep us safe from evil.

So, let’s pray.

Dear Heavenly Father. Our Wonderful God, our King of kings, and our Lord of lords.

Father, you are a gracious God and a wonderful Redeemer. You have been faithful and so good to us. You are so mighty, so powerful, and so wonderful. You have never failed us. You are a wonderful God who looked beyond our faults.

Father, you see our need. We thank you and are grateful for another day and another moment to pray.

Lord, help us not to give up on you, but help us to always pray, always trust you, always believe you, always understand that the goodness of God is beyond measure and comprehension.

Lord God, you are a good and merciful Savior, and we are echoing the prayer of Jabez today because he came to you, God, and asked for your help.

God, see the need of everyone who is praying. Everyone who is listening to this prayer podcast. Just like Jabez, God, we are calling on you and asking you to bless us indeed.

Please, God, enlarge our borders, enlarge our territory, enlarge every area of our lives. Keep us from harm, keep us safe. Let nothing that's not of you affect us. Let nothing that's not of you drift us away from you. Lord God, keep us safe; keep us under your arms; keep us covered by your blood, so that our problems, situations, difficulties can be cured by you.

Lord God, we are asking you to help us be free from pain. There are so many pains that are going through this world. Many, all over the world, are suffering from pain, sickness, difficulties, depression, oppression, and sadness.

God, so many things have captivated the heart, the mind, the desire of your people throughout this world. So many are hurting. So many needs revival, need intervention, need a breakthrough that only you can provide.

Lord God, we are coming before you and surrendering, as Jabez did. God, we are begging you for blessings, begging you for protection, begging you for guidance, begging you to keep us safe, and begging you for your intervention, to move in our lives.

Father, we're asking that your hands be upon us, your hands be with us, and that you will do something mighty in our lives that we never thought possible.

Lord God, you are a helpful God, a wonderful God who knows how to enlarge our borders; you know God, to keep us safe from danger seen and unseen. You know how to remove grief, pain, sadness, and disappointment from our lives. You know God, how to do something mighty, and so we can join with you every day, we can see the goodness of God, and so we can see how much you truly love us, how much you truly care for us.

Lord, all our lives you have been faithful. You have been wonderful. You have been holy. You have done so much for us that we cannot do for ourselves. So today, God, move in our lives, move in the life of our children, the life of our family, the life of our spouses, move in the life of the church, and everyone that is related to your churches all over the world. Move in the life of everyone who is praying. Move in the life of everyone who is seeking satisfaction, or seeking help, or seeking a solution, who is crying to you for intervention.

Lord, let your will be done, because you have been a good God. Thank you for loving us. Thank you for blessing us. Thank you for opening doors that we never thought possible.

Help us, Lord God, to enjoy your goodness and to rejoice in you as we go through this day. Help us, Lord God, to testify of your power and your qualities and your mercies each and every day. Help us, Lord God, not to give up on you, not to get discouraged, not to get distracted, but to thank you for hearing our prayers, for granting us our requests, and for keeping us safe from danger seen and unseen.

Lord, we thank you for everything you have done, because all our lives, you have been so, so good. With every prayer, we can surrender, rejoice, and give you thanks.

Father, today, go ahead of us, and protect us. Help us not to stop praying, but help us to understand that you have a great blessing for us. And so, Lord God, we can fall in love with you, surrender to you, and let your will be accomplished in our lives.

We thank you for this wonderful day in your mighty and holy name, we pray.

Thank you, Lord. Hallelujah, Jesus. Thank you so much.

I want to encourage everyone who is praying, don't stop praying. Don't give up on God. Let his will be accomplished in your life. Have a great day, and we'll pray again tomorrow. Bye-bye.
