“In your great mercy you did not put an end to them or abandon them, for you are a gracious and merciful God.” (Nehemiah 9:31)
Welcome to another daily prayer. Prayer works. Lord, in your infinite mercy, you chose not to bring their time to an end or forsake them in their darkest moments. Your grace shines brightly, illuminating their path with compassion and kindness. You are a God who listens, a God who understands, and a God who continually reaches out with mercy, reminding us that even in our failures, we are never beyond your loving embrace. Each day, the Lord will demonstrate His grace and mercy.
Good morning, everyone. Welcome to another day and another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast.
God is so good, so let’s celebrate him because of what he has done for us.
Remember, I am your host. I am Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Co-Pastor of Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in New Jersey.
God has been so good to us. So, we can pray and celebrate him as we go through this day.
Remember, today is February 9th. It's the 40th day of the year, and God is still blessing us, still waking us up with the desire to pray. No matter what life is destroyed, God is still a good God, because he has been good to us.
So, let us focus on the goodness of God, on his grace and his mercy as we pray today. He's a merciful God who has not given up on us.
Our scripture today will be taken from Nehemiah 9:31. And it reads, “In your great mercy you did not put an end to them or abandon them, for you are a gracious and merciful God.”
Today, God is encouraging us with his grace and mercy; he has not given up on us because he has great blessings in store for us.
So let’s pray.
Lord, help us to fully surrender to you. Help us to fully pray and fully seek you, because you have been good to us.
Lord, here we are before you, sacrificing before you, offering ourselves to you, and thanking you for your grace and your mercy.
Thanking you for your love, thanking you for your compassion, thanking you for your will, and thanking you for all that you have done for us.
Father, you look ahead of us, and you have compassion in us, even when we didn't have compassion in ourselves. Thank you for reminding us that as we go through this day, we can pray with assurance. We can pray with joy, and we can pray with happiness, because you are rich in mercy and great in love.
God, because of your greatness and your mercy and your love towards us, we can celebrate this day, and we glorify you.
Lord, go ahead of us, and prosper this day. Help us to praise you, help us to honor you, and help us to glorify you, because you alone are worthy of every praise. You alone are worthy of every glory we can give to you because you have been good.
Lord God, even when we fail, even when we have not turned out to be exactly who you desire for us to be, you have not given up on us. Even when we are making bad choices and doing things that are not pleasing to you, you have never given up on us.
So, we are praying for your forgiveness, we are praying for your mercy, and we are praying for your thanksgiving and your graciousness.
Lord God help us to make better decisions, help us to make good choices that are pleasing to you, and help us not to give up on you.
Today, we are praying, God, that you help us to celebrate you as we go through this day. Help us, Lord God, to remember that you are the great love of our hearts and surrender to you because you have been good.
Lord, you are reminding us of your greatness and your mercy, because you have not consumed us. You have not forsaken us. You have not given up on us because you are such a wonderful God.
God, mold us and make us into the people that you desire for us to become. Help us to fully surrender to you, and help us to pray earnestly. Help us to trust you and not get consumed with the cares of this world, so that we will not lose focus on you.
Father, help all of us to have a great day. God, you know each and every one who is listening to this podcast. You know the heart's desire. You know who we are. You know what each one is going through.
We're praying for your intervention in the lives of everyone. The life of those who need a breakthrough.
Oh God, remember those who need healing touch. Send your powerful healing touch to those who are sick, those who need deliverance, and those who are broken and need a breakthrough.
God, help us as we go through this day to remember you, the merciful God in whom we serve, who is gracious, who is loving, who is wonderful, and we thank you for this day.
Help us not to complain. Help us not to get consumed with the cares of this world. But help us to thank you for your love each day and celebrate you, because you are wonderful.
In your mighty, holy, and wonderful name, we pray… Amen.
Everyone, let's celebrate the Lord. He is a sweet love of ours and He has done great things for us. So, don't give up on him. Have a blessed day, and we'll pray again tomorrow. Bye-bye.
