“Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance. In thy name shall they rejoice all day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.” (Psalm 89:15-16)

Welcome to another daily prayer. Prayer works. Blessed are the people who recognize and embrace the joyful sound, for they shall journey through life, O Lord, illuminated by the brilliance of Your presence. In Your name, they will find reasons to rejoice each day, celebrating with hearts full of gratitude and hope. It is in the righteousness that flows from You that they will find their true exaltation and strength, lifting them above the challenges they face and guiding their steps with unwavering grace.

Good morning, everyone. I feel like rejoicing and give God thanks because of all that He has done for us. Welcome to another episode, another prayer, and another moment to celebrate the Lord, doing our EBC Prayer Podcast.

Remember, I am your host. I am Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Co-Pastor and Prayer Warrior of Elyon Bible Church, Apostolic in New Jersey. Today, we can surrender to God and rejoice because of His goodness towards us. He's a good God and a holy God. And we're gonna celebrate his goodness on this day that He has made.

Our scripture today will be taken from Psalm 89:15-16, which reads: “Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance. In thy name shall they rejoice all day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.”

God wants us to rejoice because of the greatness He has in store for us. So, we can praise Him, adore Him, honor Him, glorify His holy name, and celebrate Him as we go through our prayer today.

So let us pray.

Dear Heavenly Father, our King of Kings and our Lord of Lords. Father, we are so grateful and rejoicing today because we are thankful to you for your blessing.
You are reminding us that blessing is the people who know the joyful sound, the joyful sound of our God. You wake us up with a desire to rejoice, a desire to praise you, a desire to glorify you, and a desire to have a great day.

Lord, we thank you for this day. Many have not lived to see this day, but You are asking us to rejoice.
Father, God, so help us to rejoice, even in the midst of our circumstances. Help us to rejoice. Help us to come before you with joy because of your salvation, your righteousness, your holiness, and your wonderfulness.

Lord, because of who you are. We can rejoice and give you thanks. We can sing praises and give you glory, honor, and praise that's due unto your holy name.

Lord God, today as we come before you, we are surrendering fully to you because we want your will to be accomplished in our lives. Lord, we don't want to get caught up in the things that distract us, but we want to get caught up in the things that matter to you.

Lord, help us to have a joyful sound as we go to this day. Help us to walk in your goodness, walk in your guidance, and walk in your protection.

Oh Lord, you are the light of our continent. You know how to take care of us. You know how to shine brightly for us as we go through this day. So, Lord, we are praying with joy, because you're reminding us of your goodness.

God, continue to shine for us. Continue to help us to rejoice, to give you thanks. Help us to exalt you because you are exalting us.

Help us, Lord God, not to give up on the God in whom we serve, the Holy God, the righteous God, the Heavenly God. Help our souls to rejoice in you.

Lord God, you know everything this day has in store. And I'm asking you, God, help us not to get oppressed or depressed today. Help us not to get cast down in our spirit.

God, there are so many throughout this world who are oppressed and depressed. There are so many who need joy in their heart. And so today, we are praying for joy for everyone who is listening to this prayer podcast. Give us a reason to get up, A reason to move around, A reason to celebrate you, and A reason to give you thanks. Even when life is not perfect, we can rejoice because the blessed God we serve is a loving God.

A God who has not given up on us. A God who has not stopped loving us. A God who has not turned his back on us nor forgotten who we are. And so, Lord God, we are rejoicing. Help our family to rejoice today. Help the church families rejoice today. Our leaders have reason to rejoice today. Our parents have reason to rejoice today. Let everyone who has breath rejoice.

Your desire is for us to have joy in the Lord, to rejoice and be grateful for another day, grateful for the opportunity to be able to work, grateful for the opportunity to be able to more around, grateful for the opportunity to be able to sing, grateful for the opportunity to be able to pray, and grateful for all the blessings that you are bestowing upon us.

Help us to be grateful and understand that you are God who loves joy, you are God who loves rejoicing, you are God who inhabits the praises of your people. O God, so help us, Lord God, to develop a great relationship with you that will turn our mourning into dancing, our sadness into joy.

O God, help us to live in happiness and find joy even when things are not perfect. Because of the God in whom we serve, the righteous God, the God who will exalt us higher than we could ever have thought we could be exalted.

Lord, we thank you for everything today. Thank you for reminding us that we can praise you, glorify you, and sing glory and honor to your name.

Lord, thank you for all your blessings. And we thank you for everything. Help us as we go to this day, and let your will, Father, be accomplished in our lives, in your mighty, holy, and wonderful name we pray…Amen.

I want to encourage all of you who are praying today, keep on rejoicing. Today, God may give you a blessing that you didn't think possible. He may do something wonderful for you that you thought was not coming your way. So, praise him, and rejoice today. Have a blessed day, and we pray again tomorrow…Bye-bye
