March 24 – Day 83. Pray with Joyful Noise. Psalm 95.1-3

“O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.” (Psalm 95:1-3)

Welcome to another daily prayer. Prayer works. O come, let us lift our voices in joyous song unto the Lord, for He is our refuge and strength, the foundation of our salvation. Let us enter into His presence with hearts full of gratitude, expressing our thankfulness through our melodies and hymns. With psalms of praise, we honor Him, recognizing His majesty and power. For the Lord is indeed a great God, unmatched and sovereign, reigning as the supreme King above all other deities.

Good morning, everyone. Today, let us make a joyful noise unto the Lord and give him thanks, because he has been good to us. 

Welcome, everyone, to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. Remember, I am your host. I am Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Co-Pastor of Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in New Jersey. 

Today is March 24th, the 83rd day of the year, and God is worthy of every praise, every honor, and every glory. It doesn't matter what life has in store; we can give God thanks, praise, and make a joyful noise unto the God in whom we serve. 

Our scripture today will be taken from Psalm 95:1-3, and it reads, “O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.” 

Lord, help us to believe that you are our wonderful, mighty, and powerful God who deserves every praise and every honor. Help us to glorify, exalt, and pray with assurance because you are worthy of every praise.
 Lord, let's make a joyful noise unto you during our prayer today. 

Let’s Pray

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this day and for all that you have done. Thank you for reminding us that you are our King of Kings and our Lord of Lords. Thank you for reminding us that nothing is impossible with you. 

Lord, as we come before you today, you are reminding us to make a joyful noise unto you, to serve you, to glorify you, to honor you, and to praise your holy name, because you are a wonderful God. You are a holy God. You are a God who deserves every praise and every honor and every glory. 

Lord, as we go through this day, help us to sing glorious songs unto you, our Lord, and rejoice in the God in whom we serve, to be grateful for the rock of our salvation, who can do mighty things in our lives that we cannot even do for ourselves.
 
 Lord, thank you for waking us up this morning with a rejoicing spirit and a heart ready to praise with joy and sing of the goodness of God in our lives, for there's power in the name of Jesus to break every chain.
 
 Lord God, as we come before you, help us not to get this courage. Remove oppression and depression from the hearts of those who are oppressed and depressed. Remove disappointment from those who are disappointed. Remove sadness from those who are feeling sad and give us joy to rejoice in you. Oh God, because of your goodness.

There are so many who are overloaded with the cares of this life and with depression, who have weighed heavily in the hearts of so many. But today, God help us to have a joyful spirit and a joyful heart. Doesn't matter what life is throwing our way, help us to rejoice in the God in whom we serve. Help us to sing of your goodness, knowing that you are the rock of our salvation. Let us come before your presence with thanksgiving. 

Lord, thank you for another day. Thank you for your mercy. Thank you for the privilege to pray, the privilege to surrender to you, the privilege to call on your holy name. Lord, God, sometimes we pray in disappointment, sometimes we pray with tears, sometimes we pray with sadness. But today, God, we are praying with rejoicing; we are shouting hallelujah during our prayer; we are glorifying your holy name; and we are rejoicing during our prayer. Oh, God, because you want us to pray with a joyful sound, to make a joyful noise, and a joyful celebration, because of the day that you have made, because of your goodness in our lives, and because of your power to do the unshakable things that we can't even think possible. 

Father, we are coming before you. You know what this day has in store. You know every one of us who is praying. You see each and every one of our hearts' desires.

God, whatever is distracting us from you, remove it. Whatever is over cumbersome or overladen in our heart, remove it. Lord God, thank you for reminding us that even those who are oppressed and depressed can find joy in you. Let each and every one of us find joy and happiness in you today. 

Lord God, we are praying for those who are sick, that they will find joy in you. God help them even through the midst of sickness today, to rejoice in you. God, help us to be thankful that you have given us another day, thankful for our families and our friends, and thankful that we can pray and listen to your words today. 

Lord God, help us to make a joyful noise unto you. Oh God, with Psalms, with singing, with shouting, with glorifying you, because you are a great God. You are our King of Kings. You are our Savior. You are our righteous Redeemer. You are a holy God. And nothing is impossible with you because you deserve all the praise. 

Lord, we thank you today and for this moment to pray. We thank you this moment today for rejoicing. We thank you this moment, to shout hallelujah. We thank you this moment, to glorify you. We thank you for not giving up on us. We thank you for reminding us of your greatness, your praise, and your joy that's due unto your holy name. We thank you for everything you have done and all that you continue to do in our lives. Lord, we thank you, because true it all, we can learn to trust you, depend upon you, and let your will be accomplished in our lives in your mighty holy name we pay.
