March 28 – Day 87
“For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.” (Psalm 103:11-13)
Welcome to another daily prayer. Pray without ceasing, stay committed, and reach out to God. He is a loving and compassionate Father who truly cares for you. The mercy of the Lord is as vast and unmeasurable as the heavens are high above the earth, extending boundlessly toward those who hold him in reverent fear. Just as the distance between the east and the west is infinite, so has He separated us from our sins, ensuring that they no longer define us. In the same way a compassionate father embraces and empathizes with his children, offering them care and understanding, so too does the Lord demonstrate His deep compassion toward those who honor and respect Him.
Good morning, everyone. Welcome to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. Remember, I am your host. I am Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Co-Pastor of Elyon Bible Church, Apostolic in Salem, NJ.
God, grace, and mercy have brought us to see another day, so let us give God thanks for everything He has done for us.
Remember, today is another opportunity to pray, seek God, and fully surrender to Him.
Our scripture will be taken from Psalm 103:11-13, and it reads, “For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.”
We are living this moment because of his grace and his mercy towards us.
So let us pray.
Father, we give you thanks. We worship you. We praise you. We honor you. And we want to glorify you. You are our everlasting Father. You are our King and King and our Lord of the Lord.
Lord, it’s because of your grace and your mercy, while we are here today. And Lord God, we don't know what this day has in store, but we know God; if He had not been for your grace and your mercy, we would not be here today.
Lord, we come before you and pray and ask for your guidance, protection, comfort, and your love. Help us to remember that your grace and mercy are always with us. For you are reminding us that as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is your mercy towards us when we learn to fear you, when we trust and obey you, when we surrender fully to you.
Lord, as we go through this day, let us not get distracted, give up on you, get disappointed, or get cumbersome with the cares of this life that we lose focus on the God in whom we serve.
Father God, help us to truly know that you are with us. You are covering us under your blood, and your mercies are protecting us. You are keeping us safe from danger seen and unseen. You are watching over us because of the plans you have in store for us.
God, help us to fear you wholeheartedly, trust you wholeheartedly, and live a life that is pleasing to you.
Lord, you say, as far as the east is from the west. So far, God, you are removing our transgressions, doubts, fears, and sicknesses from us. Thank you for taking away our disappointment. Because, like a father, they pity their children. So, you, Lord, are reminding us that you will pity all of us who fear you. You will do more for us than we can do for ourselves. You, God, can do the impossible in our lives. You can break down every stronghold in our lives. And you can get us to the level you desire us to be.
God, we are calling on you, surrendering, trusting, and praying for your will to be accomplished in our lives. We are praying for your anointing and praying that you will break down every stronghold in our lives.
Lord God, help us to remember that you care for us, you are a God who loves us, a God who will do great things in our lives because your grace and mercy have brought us this far. And it's because of your grace and your mercy. While we can pray, we can fully surrender to you because you have mercy upon us. You are pitying us as your children. You are taking care of us. You are watching us under your blood. Help us to always remember your compassion and your love. Help us to pray without ceasing and trust you wholeheartedly, so that your will can be accomplished in our lives.
Father, as we go through this day, help us to know that you know what this day has in store for us. Please cover us under your blood and help us to never give up on you, never to stop praying, and never to stop trusting you.
Oh God, even when we're not worthy, you're still showing your love to us. Cover this day under your blood. Cover everyone who's praying and listen to our prayer under your blood. God, keep us safe. Watch over us, and let your will be accomplished in our lives. Help us not to give up on you, not to get caught up in the things of this world that we lose focus on you, but help us to always remember the holy and mighty and powerful God we serve, because your grace and your mercy will bring us safely to you. In your wonderful name, we pray. Amen.
Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord.
Thank you for praying. God's grace and mercy will take care of you as you go through this day. Don't stop praying. Trust God, and you have a great day. We'll pray again tomorrow. Bye-bye.
