Apr 15 -Day 105. Commit your works unto the Lord. Proverbs 16.3

“Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.” (Proverbs 16:3)

Welcome to another daily prayer. Prayer works. Don’t stop praying. The Lord will guide you when you commit your works to Him. "Dedicate your efforts and intentions to the Lord, and in doing so, your plans and ideas will find clarity and direction, leading to fruitful outcomes."

Good morning, everyone. Welcome to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. I am your host. I'm Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Co-Pastor of Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in New Jersey. 

Every prayer we are able to offer, we can sing of the goodness of God and fully surrender to Him, because all our lives, He has been a wonderful God. He's been able. He can do the impossible in our lives. 

Today, as you pray, God is reminding us of the love he has for us. Because he's close like no other, so we can surrender fully to Him. 

Our scripture today is taken from Proverbs 16:3. And it reads, “Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.” 
 
God wants us to be established, grow stronger, and get to the place where He truly wants us to be. He wants us to be committed, to fully surrender to Him, and to let his will be accomplished in our lives. 

With everything that we are able, we can sing of the goodness of God. We can sing of His power. We can sing of His might. We can sing of His love because in all our lives, he has been faithful. All of our lives, he has been a wonderful God and a holy God. 

And so, we can pray for His goodness.
 
Lord, here we are in your presence. We are coming before you, because we know you are a holy God. We know you are a wonderful God. We know you have never failed. 

Lord, no matter what we are going through, in the darkest night, you are close like no other because of the love you have for us. Lord, we want your will to be accomplished in our lives. Remove oppression and depression, and help us to pray with assurance. Help us to think of your goodness and your will, which reaches the level that we cannot reach on our own. God, your will extended the direction further than we can even comprehend. 

Lord, God, help us to be committed to you, committed to the work of righteousness, committed to holiness. Because every breath, everything that we do, can glorify you. Lord, we can surrender fully to you. This is a day that you have made, and you know what this day has in store for us. So Lord, we are asking you to go ahead and prosper this day. Let your goodness move in our lives. Remove everything that's not of you, and help us have a glorious day. God, remove every pain and suffering and disappointment that life may throw, and help us to commit it to you.
 
Help us to work in the work of righteousness. Help us to establish the thought of righteousness, the thought of holiness. Help us to be committed to you, on what is it that you want to do for us? And so today we are surrendering to you. We want your will to be accomplished for us because you know the good you have in store for us. You know everything. You have not given up on us. 

You have been a holy God, a righteous God, a wonderful God, a heavenly God, a powerful God, a God who sees the impossible, a God who knows the impossible, a God in whom we were created this day for a purpose because of the love you have for us. And so here we are before you, God, our wonderful protector, our guidance. Help us to be committed to the work that you have placed before us, to be committed to righteousness, to be committed to doing the thing you desire for us to do. 

God, remove distraction. Remove doubt. Help us to truly love you, truly love others, truly love those who are related to us and those who are not. Help us to truly surrender to you. Help our hearts to be always grateful for the multiple things that you are producing in our lives. Help us to desire more of you, to desire heaven. To desire the things that are pleasing to you. Help us not to give up on you, but to be truly committed to the work of righteousness, the work of godliness, the path that you have in store for us. Because you have been so good to us, help us to trust you wholeheartedly, lean upon you, and not on the things of this world. Help us to fully surrender to you, to fully be holy because you are holy, to fully get to that place where we can submit ourselves directly into your hands, so you can lead and guide us, so you can protect us, so you can remove distraction. 

Oh, God, give us the strength we need to pray earnestly, the strength we need to trust you, the strength we need to pray earnestly, the strength we need to trust you, the strength we need to depend upon you, the strength we need to surrender fully to you because you are a heavy-lasting Father. 

Help us never to stop praying. Help us never to give up on the God we serve, but help us to work wholeheartedly for you, not to get discouraged, not to get disappointed, but to fully surrender to you, knowing that you, God, have something great in store for every one of us who are praying and seeking your guidance and seeking your direction. 

Lord, thank you for everyone who is praying, for everyone who is listening to this prayer podcast, for everyone who is surrendering to you. God, give thanks for every one of them. And we pray God for your power to move in our lives. Help us to always remember the loving God we serve, and have a gracious day. In your wonderful name, we pray…Amen.
